Why didn’t they just incorporate Super monkey ball into Yakuza? Yakuza literally has a bunch of different gameplay styles so it would be no problem fitting in, and satisfying everyone.

So what you're saying is, Sega pulled a Capcom. For those who don't know, Capcom has locked new games behind the success of a rerelease. For example, they were going to make a Darkstalkers 4 but after Street Fighter x Tekken failed, Capcom said "buy this collection of the first three Darkstalkers games with no changes and if it sells well, we will make Darkstalkers 4" and then the proceeded to set their expectations for the collection so high that it was not possible for us Darkstalkers fans to reach. @@uncanadien3272 perhaps modifying a picture from Sega (that he was explicitly told he was not allowed to modify without permission) and selling the result to the public (in the form of t-shirts) is illegal. I'm not sure to be honest, but I imagine they could argue that he's profiting off of their IP and damaging their brand. It seems to be somewhat of a gray area.
