Roman Catholic dogmas constitute the essential and authoritative beliefs of the Catholic Church, forming the bedrock of its theology and spiritual practice. If you do follow scripture, and as literally as you say, why do you never follow John 6 just as literally? 3. Anyone can teach from the bible, including me and you. If we disagree, name for me the authority we go to and settle the matter? No one in authority that is human and living today? 30,000 disagreements so 30,000 denominations? Laughable. I have the magisterium. 4. False religion? Read the Didache, the Mass worship service used by the first Christians even before 90AD. Compare it to today's Catholic Mass. Pretty much the same. False religion began to occur around 1517 by my own history studies.

@@markorados1453 hey man, ive spent 2 years researching with an honest heart, i found that scott is one of the worst apologists because he simply lies, he doesnt use logic to explain his thoughts process he just uses emotions. If you look at him even with a tiny bit if scepticism he just isn't believable. Jimmy akin is 20 times better, but even he uses langauage that doesn't fit the historical view, he swiched many interpretations to build bridges, but it just ain't the historical traditional view. I would love for the RC to be the true chirch but it just misses the point of who Jesus is

@@markorados1453 im 10 steps ahead of saying things you disagree with because i really spent time. He said he read the Bible and came to the Rc and that everything is true. And then he explained it. And the logic just doesn't follow. There is no way he read only the bible and saw purgatory, that mary is the arc of the covenant, that prayer to saints is something he sees in the bible. The ides have to be given to him because the way he argues how he got there doesnt make sense. Im down even for a videocall, i have fought with everything but i just cant honestly follow the logic. I have grown up without chruch tradition and we only read the Bible. I was so shocked when he said he found it alone in the bible, and super excited for him to explain himself, and when he did i was so sad and disappointed because it feels like he is trying to give assurance to people where there shouldn't be and trick protestants into thinking there are no real differences

We do not consider her God so there is no commandment being broken, and you do realize the 10 commandments aren't numbered in scripture and the traditional way of numbering it is how the Catholic Church has it, it was not until today that certain protestants changed the numbering and accused Catholics of changing it to cover up having statues, but regardless it was man who numbered them. In the old testament God made Moses make the bronze serpent a literal image so was God making Moses break the commandments? And every protestant says, well that was only for that specific situation, that is not true because later on God instructed for cherubim to be made in the tabernacle, again an image. And let me ask a question, Gabriel said Mary was full of grace not the church but Gabriel directly from God, how can someone be full of grace yet have sin? Show me any other person in the Bible that is said to be full of grace there isn't anyone. And last when Mary told Jesus to make wine many claim Christ rebuked her by saying woman it's not my time, if it was a rebuke then why did he do the wine? It was because out of honor and love not worship he did the miracle because of her intercession. Just because we respect her it's not worship and a statue reminds us of her and how faithful she was to the Lord, and a crucifix being a reminder of God's love and mercy.
