    the day after watching your beginner's guide, I went to my local craft store and got all the supplies I needed. a day later and I finished my first project in years! I only stabbed myself once (that llama mouth and nose almost killed my motivation)... after 5 hours of work (it is now 1am, I just had to finish it) my lazy llama turned out better than I expected :)
    thank you for your amazing tutorials, I'm going to try many more of them~

    Hi Philipa, Thank you so much for your videos. The detail you give in the explanations is invaluable for beginners like me. I tried one of these Llamas as my very first project felting, but I didn't have a pipe cleaner so I made the neck shorter & fatter so my llama turned out to be a lasy sheep. I'm so pleased with the result. Thanks again for the tutorials.🐑🐑😂

    How can I find tutorial on that wool technique over top? I can't get how to do it from that short example? Or what's it called so I can look it up? I'm in middle for daughter very frustrated

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  2 года назад +1

      It's very easy, I do show the technique up close, you simply loop the wool by about 1/2 an inch and felt in, that's all you do, maybe pause the video. I do very similar on this video if that helps x

    Hi Phillipa, thanks for another great video. Please could you tell me what sort of thickness knitting wool I should be looking for? Why does it have to be rreal wool?
    Also where do you buy you pink wool from for noses etc. All the ones I have looked at seem to be more Barbie pink than flesh pink! Not sure the Llamas would look too good with fluorescent noses! Sorry for all the questions.

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  3 года назад +1

      Hi Sharon, no problems, good questions, the wool is chunky or super chunky (don't have an actual size), it won't felt to the wool base if it's not mostly actual wool and in my description is link to The Felt Box on amazon, the colour is nude, nice and light pink. Glad you enjoyed it and take care x
