No I'm perfectly happy with my rebadged equinox. I have a 13 ATS with the LFX engine (literally Buick designed engine out of an equinox) 246k miles, I bought it 6 ½ years ago with 78k miles. She's still snappy, AWD, and the only engine work I've done is bay 1 both cam sensors, 1 coil pack, and 1 coil pack failed yesterday on me. 246k miles with sub $300 (not including standard maintenance like plugs, etc) for this engine is impossible to beat. If this girl died on me tomorrow, I'd still be amazed with how much this engine did for me. Easily the best car I've ever owned, and created a Cadillac fan boy unless they're all electric then I'm never going to buy one again.
@ron8935 the LT4 is by FAR the most reliable (but still mechanical so you can break it with abuse) high output street motor out there. I've had a couple now and they're much more durable than the M and twin-turbo V8 BMW models I have. There's a great article about the record setting durability of this motor in the IMSA series from around 2022 as I recall. Now the Blackwing debuted as a '22 model (not to be confused with the earlier Blackwing motor that was in the CT6 which is not a Blackwing model) so maybe you got them mixed up?
Love the mode caddy's, I'd buy one over a lot of cars as they're fairly practical, luxurious and have a lot of power! I love when they are cammed with exhaust

Black wing has 115 more hp and is 855 lbs heavier. Not too bad of a race though. If the Porsche not slipped up on a shift it might have had a slight better advantage.
...or price! That said, the 5BW is not your average GM car. A LOT of engineering work went into the suspension and handling, transmissions - a great manual and an auto that GM benchmarked as faster than PDK in the first 4 gears, amazing brakes whether steel or carbon ceramic, real steering feedback, bespoke tires made mostly from Cup 2' r-compound, titanium drive-train bits, etc. If GM had out this much effort into even half it's cars, they'd be a completely different company (and from what I've seen they've put that effort into EVs...just when the domestic market for them is slowing due to short-term interest rate and long-term infrastructure concerns.)

Porsches are amazing. They will out handle almost any car on the track and yet still have the acceleration to be door to door with a high output V8 and is only a V6 @ 4.0L.
