19:12 This is one of the plethora of reasons that drives our desire for independence from India. While our electricity powers various regions,we Kashmiris find ourselves resorting to coal for cooking, reminiscent of the 1800s.
Saab ji, is this true though? If you google the Uri power plant, it supplies power to J&K as well. Can you show me a reference or something that tells me that no power is supplied to j&k residents from any of these power plants? Sorry, I can’t blindly believe someone’s knowledge without them supplying a few sources proving it.
@@manishas9411 I appreciate those who don't blindly follow others. I live in central Kashmir, which is far more developed than other cities, yet we receive no more than 5 hours of electricity daily. Almost every evening is spent in darkness or candlelight. This is a common experience across Kashmir. In winter, we endure over three months without electricity. Holding a peaceful protest for our rights is risky; it could lead to booking or even imprisonment. I wish you knew how our thoughts are silenced.
@@mohammad1906Tell me more. None of this is really covered in the national news channels. How are people in other parts outside of j&k supposed even know all this? Halal hugs? I wish influencers from Kashmir Valley that have a massive following like, The Umar, would use their RUclips channel to make these issues known. We just get the "normalcy normalcy" bs the news channels and nothing else. With what happened in 2019 for months, I was waiting for my Kashmiri acquaintances to show up online. It must have been crippling for you all bro. Hugs. I was praying you all were alright.
@@manishas9411 Firstly i thank you for your empathy. Secondly, In the realm of news channels, only a naive individual anticipates an accurate portrayal of reality. Over half of the Indian troops are concentrated in J&K, instilling widespread fear and inhibiting open discourse on pertinent issues. The pervasive use of tactics aims to enforce silence, exemplified by the recent arrest of a community leader supporting Palestine. Our communications are under constant scrutiny, prompting reflection on the legitimacy of our quest for freedom. Tragically, my 18-year-old cousin lost an eye merely for participating in a peaceful assembly, emblematic of the numerous others facing similar fates. The anguish of mothers mourning their lost children underscores the gravity of our struggle, demonstrating that our call for freedom is far from baseless or irrational-it is a response to the unbearable culmination of grievances.
I’m sorry about your cousin. Why is it that the Abdullahs are millionaires? Are the state/UT government leaders of J&K are communicating the grievances of the people to the central government? It doesn’t appear to be the case.
