- Aloha! Yes it's me! LOL. It's been a while since we last visited, but here's a Feb Orchid 2024 update. Since moving to Seattle in 2016 and getting rid of most of my collection-then trying to grow orchids under a grow light in a tent... in an apartment, killing dozens of plants. We eventually got tired of the weather and moved back in 2021. I once again got rid of alot of plants and brought a few back with me to Maui. It took a couple years for me to root in and find my way, but now we are here. Enjoy!
I love your orchids😌🤲💞The Neofinetia are so neatly potted👏🌟Great job! I grow some here in Japan. They are really tough orchids and put up with the cold winters. It's already snowed twice. Your huge Vanda is amazing😱🙌💞And those flowers are beautiful🥰
nice collection. that nodosa would very likely win even the best in show here in the UK.
Hi Randy, welcome back! Great update video, thanks for sharing. Your neofenitias looking great in their cocodama moss. Can you please film it when you are making one next time? Thanks and happy growing 😊
Aloha Mary! Thank you! I will def record it next time I do a neofinetia kokedama. I am using Trac Mcnguyen’s method for doing kokedama using a small mesh basket for the interior-he’s on YT and his tutorial is awesome! Happy Growing!!
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
@@randyonmauiYou're very welcome
your orchids look good in your new shade house, congrats on your competition prizes too! Maybe you could film the orchids at your local orchid society meeting sometime or a visit to your local orchid nurseries. Love your fur babies they are cute.
Will def start recording at the orchid society meeting. The orchid society is due for a nursery tour though-it’s in the works. Will bring you along if that happens! Thanks for watching!
Wow gaganda po
Salamat po!
Do you have any cattleyas from Akatsuka on the Big Island?
Home Depot and Lowe's have alot better selection of orchids in Hawaii! 💚
I got a Rhyncostylis and a couple cat seedlings from Akatsuka recently. The box garden stores sell a lot of phals but occasionally have collectors orchids.. I’m always checking.
