After new battery fitted you should have reset the watch by shorting AC with (+) of the battery using tweezers, as stated on label attached on top of the battery (minute 2:20). This applies to all Casio watches. Some of them don´t even start until it have been reset.
I thought you were joking when you said you wanted a universal battery change database channel! BTW I love the mini-story aspect of your videos. Great fun!
Hello I enjoy your videos on the other channel with the comments by the way I was wondering if you know what kind of battery goes on Benrus Techniquartz I've tried AG13 but it is smaller in diameter thanks
@@Adifferent_perspective_MG I did it myself. I've made many battery replacements to my watches and others in the family. Though I am not a 200m diver to fully test it :) jokes aside, if you want full 200m water resistance you need to test it on a vacuum chamber, if it fails replace the o-ring with new one
For us true beginners who only change a battery when the moon is blue, removing the straps is unnecessary on a watch with a simple 4-screw back plate, or even an expansion band, because the screwdriver reaches the screws just fine without removing the strap pins In fact, replacing some of those straps is difficult, especially those with some sort of shroud over the pins like this watch has, and like many metal expansion bands, too. Fiddling as the strap pins leap hither and yon defeats the 'quick' in any battery change. Looking at your total video posting I can tell you got off to a good start but have backed off in recent months. Perhaps you have not yet found your stride. I think there is room for another watchmaker RUclipsr. Let me encourage you to try new and different tactics. Just doing the things that interest you will draw subscribers if there is continuity in your ostings. Personally, I would like to see how to get recalcitrant press-fit watch backs loosened and removed, especially those that have never been removed before. I'd like to learn how to re-seal them to at least some splash-proof condition.

You are correct somwot..but this ones heart is strong like zee bull and didn’t require a micro defibrillating
Thank you for this.I assume the same procedure applies to the GBD 800 too.

You a watch surgeon sir!!
A great battery chang to do a video on and especially the setting up would be Breitling Aerospace. Best wishes to all
Great video bro. Please tell me what's this G shock watch battery life?
2-3 years depending on how often you utilize the functions on it
where can i find your music? specifically the japanese sounding track on the seiko museum video? (on your brothers channel)
Solar panels charge this watch ?
Followed after watching your Bro. Very enjoyable video. I think it is far easier to work with the strap off and you cam also give it a clean easier.
I agree with you Mr Williamson specially these chunky Casio’s with rigid straps that refuse to lay flat.
If you don't want to fool with taking off the band you don't have to change the battery, but it is easier to change if you do.
MY MAN!!!!👍❤️❤️❤️
Thanks can you do an Omega multi-function as the bracelet & case look tough also it’s a beauty of an classic Omega 👏🏼😎😎
It will remain waterproof after this?

Hi
Try a 389...don’t have the model to hand to be 100% sure but I’m about 87.53% confidant it’s a 389
@@batterychangedirectory5407 thanks i ve tried 389 and it does not work mybe the watch is not functioning
2:23 What does the blinking 'R' mean? I have that sometimes…thx!
It means it's time to replace the battery. I had mine come up blinking when I tried to sync the steps up to my phone and had to google it.
Your Brother sent me 👏🏼👏🏼😎😎
would like to confirm using CR2025 not CR2016, many thanks
Yes CR2025
Great, thanks for sharing !
Will it still be water resistant after the battery change, or will it break the water resistant seal even though the o-ring is still there?
It will keep water resistant. I think normally it is recommended to replace the o-ring every two years no matter what
@@robbopl where do you go to replace it?

How do you get the backplate off without removing the band? On mine, the inner part of the band seems to overlap the backplate slightly.
How did you do 0:19 🥲🥲
