"Bist du bei mir" (English: "If you are with me") (BWV 508) is an aria from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. It was attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, but the melody is actually by Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel and Bach later harmonized it. I made this arrangement this morning, after having sketches of it in many different keys in my drawers for several years. At last I found a good key (G-Major) and finished it and felt like recording it immediately. :-)

I am a very beginner of classical guitar, but I can't stop listenning to Your music. It's so pure. I feel so relaxed listenning to Your guitar. The religious character of that piece makes me think the Lord has so created the world that music is a kind of mystery and musicans are doing a great job. They show other people that music means -The God created beauty and wants the beauty of human beings.
Heaven is in Your guitar and heaven stops when You plays .

Once I heard it done by a handbell choir and had tears streaming down my cheeks, it was so lovely. This guitar rendition comes as close to that as any I've heard - absolutely lovely!
I came a hundred times to this beauty , and every one of them puts me into tears
This piece is showing the beautiful spirit of Bach, not an intelectual one, a LOVING one

This is beautiful! I was looking for this piece for a long while; my mom used to play it on the piano when I was growing up, but I couldn't remember the name of it. Thank-you for such a peaceful and lovely rendition. You play so nicely!!
