Must have listened to several dozen versions of this song on RUclips, trying to learn this song. This video is my very favorite. Tight sound, great instrumentalists and vocal, and I love the way the bass comes in and the song takes off from there,
I agree with you 100%
I'm absolutely blown away, I want the banjo tab please!
The music was great but watching that young lady move was absolutely mesmerizing. 💯
I didn't know there were so many words! this is tight
Oh my dearest buildings it is wyatt of beck wells fame and im wondering what the tuning is for the bajo if you remember
WYATTT!!! I’m no banjo player but up 80% sure this is in open D (aDF#AD). Miss ya!
Thank you!!!!!
Epic chord change at the end!!
So nice when the bass comes in 🤩 you guys sound great !
WOW - all the way around great. Powerful musicians and her voice is flawless/
Love that top tension banjo. Is that a Robin Smith?
Loved the performance. Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) you at Folk Alliance in Montreal next month.
This is so good. When is the banjo player re-joining!!?!
VERY fine !!! Maybe a little faster next time ? ... ;O) YIKES ! (Never knew there were words to the old-time version...) Fun !
Lookin forward to Grey Fox in July
Would you all release this song to buy?
Chauncey Perpendicular loves you guys
Banjo and fiddle intro is great! Keep it up!
really freakin good!
So good!
Good job, but twice as fast as Foster intended (it's a minstrel tune).
Chauncey Perpendicular says hi
Terrific tune, love Stephen Foster. But Why play it so fast??? Sorry, I like the slow version better.
Slow it down it will sound better
I like it bouncy I think.
Way too fast. Turning an old camp tune into bluegrass.
I can hear didgeridoo in this ...silly me.
