Water atomization plant

The plant is ideal for producing both “ HIGH QUALITY ” precious and non-precious metal powders, in an inert gas environment to avoid oxidation.
The unit is supplied with the following parts:
1. Two Medium Frequency Converters, One For The Furnace And One For The Tundish
2. The Core Of The Machine, Composed By A Melting Furnace, A Tundish Borne By A Load Cell And The Nozzles System
3. A Metal Platform
4. A High Pressure Pump
5. A Tank For Collecting The Powder (RPG)

Technical specifications of the plant:
- The whole melting, pouring, RPG emptying steps are controlled by a PLC unit provided with a TOUCH-SCREEN panel, able to memorize all the different parameters in order to make various melting programs according to the type of alloy to be molten.
- An even feeding is guaranteed by the opening of the shutter controlled by the load cell, whose feedback allows to keep an even level of the metal in the tundish.
- The high pressure allows stable and non-fluctuating jet streams.
- Double efficiency in comparison with the high frequency melting furnaces.
- Coils equipped with our flux concentrator system that guarantees low electromagnetic emissions and reduction in power consumption
- Reduction of melting losses due to a more even power distribution to the material being melted
