Lucid motors is a competitor to Tesla in the exact same way that McLaren, Ferrari and Aston Martin is a competitor to Mercedes, Audi, BMW and VW. In other words, they are not competitors. They're involved in completely different parts of the market. Lucid motors makes small batch luxury cars while Tesla makes mass produced affordable cars.
Has anybody bought a lucid air production car? So the answer is no & unless & until they can actually start to produce cars & get them sold, they’re not making any money!
