Dr. Christine Cocchiola, DSW, LCSW, and expert on coercive control, helps us understand how this type of control fits into the abuse landscape and how it affects its victims, including children of coercive controllers. Dr. Cocchiola explains current legislation and how you can get involved to change the laws that affect our family court systems.

When it comes to coercive control I have never heard of Dr Cocciola. Dr. Evan Stark on the other hand, I have heard alot about and read alot of his work. Thank you for introducing us to Dr. Cocciola.
you are very welcome!
Great discussion with Dr. Cocchiola.

You are so welcome
I'm sure its all the same but can someone please do an episode on women as the abusers and how men can survive
Why is it that, a male survivor of coercive control (by my wife), while still experiencng post separation abuse, I am still feeling completely diminished trying to find answers? It doesn't just happen to women or gay men... Maybe it is statistically way less but seriously...
If an abuser accused their victim of the things they actually did to them, would the victim not also "deny, attack and reverse the victim and offender? A perpetrator can flip the DARVO the same way and use it against their victim.
I'm from UK.
Can I get this expert to look at my case and talk at court?
