Would love to see you play some snippet of the song before you start with the lesson, that way I know what it’s going to sound like. Definitely helps with putting the pieces together.
Geoff, thank you for your comment, I had hoped I had addressed this issue by recording a part of the song as I play it 'for real' and by playing sections during the lesson. Perhaps I'll try filming myself playing at the beginning now. thanks again.
