Romance dawn arc really is so full of nostalgia 🥰 Also: 1000 episodes in and while luffy will be king of the Pirates, Nami is still the true captain of the ship xD always kickin the boys asses. One piece girls (asnin nami, robin, vivi but even kuleha or pudding!) are just fantastic written characters, other anime should learn from that...
If you want to watch one piece REMEMBER PEOPLES NAMES BOUNTYS AND TITLES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DEVIL FRUITS (some peoples forgot people's names and then later in the series when they're talking about a person they'll have to look who tf that person is)

Quick tips for watching the serie: - don't watch episodes titles or disable subtitles for it to be sure - you can watch intermissions (wanted posters cut) - react to fillers or watch them on your own but don't skip them, you will loose a lot of good moments if you do - don't mind to much haters in the comments and most importantly, have fun watching the show and enjoy the journey.
Okay so do with this information what u want BUT since One Piece has over 1000 episodes and lots of filler later on, there is the project called One Pace. Its a big group of fans who edited all the filler of of it decreasing the overall runtime of one piece by about 40% which makes it so much nicer to watch when the later arcs hit. Might be worth considering once the slow pace kicks in! Have fun with One Piece :)

Having the ability to swim, is not the same as knowing how to swim. Devil Fruit users, as mentioned in these first few minutes, lose their ability to swim. A key difference in the manga (technically a spoiler, though it's a manga chapter already covered by these episodes) -- Before eating a Devil Fruit, Luffy was not a strong/good swimmer. Anime-only fans are given the impression Luffy was a good swimmer, then lost this skill. Manga readers are told Luffy wants to be an amazing swimmer, almost immediately before he eats the fruit & we learn he'll never swim again. 🤷🏻♀️ *slight clarification for this same flashback in the manga: we learn Luffy wants to be an amazing swimmer, despite being really bad at it.
Early One Piece is very goofy and cartoony. Definitely not for everyone, so try to be patient. It'll be worth it. If the pacing becomes a problem, you can watch the One Pace version.
definitely jojo's its a pretty good intro at the wacky world of anime and is a cult classic , once you'v seen ull def gain a new undestanding of MANY memes and see the many references LOADS of othe media do to it , not only anime but movies , comics manga, even ads or novels

Hell yeah been waiting for this. Also buggy does not have telekinesis or control people, it was his hand that was choking that one guy but it was hidden to not reveal his power. Also the sea monster is called a “Sea King” :)
JoJo's is definitely a good series for sure. It isnt very long (around 190-200 episodes inculding all parts with some OVAs written by the same author as the main story). The power system is one of the if not the best power system in any shounen manga/anime.

JoJo's is definitely a good series for sure. It isnt very long (around 190-200 episodes inculding all parts with some OVAs written by the same author as the main story). The power system is one of the if not the best power system in any shounen manga/anime.
Is there a way for you not to cover the subtitles maybe? Or do you have to due to copyright issues?
I think it's more of a sizing thing, which should be able to be resolved. I'll prioritize leaving them uncovered for the next One Piece vid.
Syrup village arc is little underwhelming. But keep watching because arcs after that really starts accelerating the story to another level
