      neh-kha-MA = Comfort or consolation. Depending on the context, who is speaking and to whom, it will be pronounced differently. Nah-KHAM = "He comforted". Nah-kha-MOO = They comforted or have been comforted. Hope that helps :-)

      @@TheWORDinHEBREW Thank you so much. The context I'm intending to refer is in Isaiah 40, 1. But is the phoneme /k/ pronounced? Or can I say something like /naham/?

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW  5 лет назад +2

      You are very welcome @@FelipeCoura . When you see "KH" or "kh" in my transliterations, try to say it while clearing your throat... It's a guttural sound. If that's too hard for you, you can pronounce it instead as "ha" or "ka", which is close enough. The meaning of "na-kha-MOO" in Isaiah 41:1 is "be comforted" (in plural form).

    Hello how do you say healer and provision in Hebrew for example the Lord provides and the Lord our healer

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW  5 месяцев назад +1

      Shalom!
      "Healer" = מרפא meh/ra/PEH
      "The LORD is healer"= יהוה רפא ADONAI ra/FA
      The term "The LORD provides" comes from Gen. 22:14 where "provide" there comes from the root "to see". "Will see" = יִרְאֶה yee-r/EH.
      But the actual Hebrew word for "provision" is אספקה ah-s/pa/KA, which can also be used for "supply".
      I hope this helps & God bless!

      In order to understand anything, it is always best to go to the source. Hebrew is the original language of the Old Testament (Tanach), and therefor is the source of any translation you might want to use, and as you know, things do get "lost in translation". With that said, you don't have to learn Hebrew in order to understand the Bible, but it can sure add depth and insight to your understanding. Blessings 🙏
