I'm so pleased you have done this updated version. I found your original version which I felt would leave an absolute beginner confused as you were highlighting the transliteration which was left to right, instead of highlighting the Hebrew from right to left. Well done for realising this and making this updated version. You have a lovely style of teaching by the way.

Ayelet is a name I don't know how to pronounce but I want to thank you. As a messianic gentile my Israeli spirit is crying out to the Lord to understand the hebrew. Now I have that help.Thank you for this beautiful channel.
Ayelet means "doe, female deer, gazelle". It is taken from the Hebrew phrase אַיֶלֶת הַשַׁחַר ('ayelet hashachar), literally "gazelle of dawn", which is a name of the morning star.
If you trust in the God of Israel, you’re no longer a gentiles but a fellow heir. You’re part of the commonwealth of God’s people Israel, grafted in by the blood of Yeshua your kinsmen redeemer.
What a wonderful and glorious work you are doing in service to Adonai and all who seek to learn of Him. May you be blessed a thousand fold!! Am Yisrael Chai ❤
I teach a kids Sabbath School class and have been working at teaching them the Shema. They have been so excited and have been practicing the first several verses. Once that is securely learned we are moving on to the Lord's Prayer. I am so amazed at the eagerness of these children to learn Hebrew, even if it is through an English vessel, me. I have purchased the pronunciation chart and listen to your videos. What fun! I pray in doing this it will bring the kids closer to God and understanding of who He truly is. Plus they are learning scripture, which I pray will stay with them their entire lives! Thank you!
As a Jew that remembers the cantor singing this blessing at the end of Sabbat service. Thank you for the refresher course, where by I can now reside Ha Baruch over my house and mishpocha !
Shalom weh Boqer tov! I pray that you & your loved ones are safe & well. I am ecstatic to have found your Channel. This is a favorite scripture of mine (I have a few). I’m loving learning these verses. I am going to learn All of them. Todah rabah for your teachings, your insight, your patience AND your time. You love what you do & it shows! Plz add more verses. I will visit your Web site also. May The Almighty One of Yisrael bless you immensely. Ahavah rabah. 😊📖🌸
After viewing the video of Joshua Aaron's The Blessing in Hebrew, I'm going to put my effort to learn this prayer as my first lesson of this language. Thank you for posting this teaching. The start of something beautiful of learning Hebrew. Adonai bless you. Shalom.
At the end of every Wednesday night Bible study, our pastor has us sing this blessing, in English. Whenever he rarely forgets, he hears from many of our 6000 congregants 😆. We all love it so much, and it is beautiful when sung by the men, with the women echoing. Thank you very much for sharing this with us in Hebrew! I am trying to fit it into our melody in my mind, as I think I might remember it better that way…we’ll see…
I learned some 70 years ago that the second part of the Shama is Baruch shem kivod malchuto leolom va Ed. Please excuse my crude phonetics. I stopped attending Hebrew school due to financial hardships when I was eleven and never got Bar Mitzvahed. I was always, and continue to be proud of my Jewish heritage.
Shalom, Traditional Jews add "Baruch shem kevod malchuto le'olom va'ed" at the end of the Shema, but this line is only a rabbinical tradition and not taken from the bible like the actual Shema is. The second part of the Shem is called "Ve'ahavta" and you can learn it here: ruclips.net/video/dqa5muIFzcw/видео.html It's never too late to learn Hebrew. You can start with my free Hebrew crash course here if you like: ruclips.net/p/PLJJoBHeww3h6mzOpi6ackvnFkJmYAATNZ&si=DwyRiXkvtd_VHBey I hope this help & God bless!

I L💓VE TO HEAR HEBREW ... ALWAYS HAVE. But it does seem so confusing. I am going to expose myself to these videos and absorb the language into my Spirit. It helps me visualize Our LORD when He was manifested on this earth, looking forward with all my being to meet Him SOON. THANK YOU for these videos....very well done. 💥💞➕💞💥
Ayelet....I am trying to learn this Hebrew Blessing in Hebrew. When you pronounced each word slowly...it was really easy but when you said them all together after that...it was so fast, I got lost....help😨
Ayelet how about adding the second part where The Lord will bless our children and their children. Our coming and our going. Hu itanu hu kilanu Hu itcha.
“The true pronunciation of the name YHWH was never lost. Several early Greek writers of the Christian Church testify that the name was pronounced ‘Yahweh’” (Encyclopaedia Judaica, vol. 7, p. 680).
Madam, the holy name is YHVH and not ADONAY. You are doing "double speaking" here, that is, the word is written in "one way," but you pronounce it the "other way." That is lies and deception!
I really appreciate your videos, but it breaks my heart to see how every time the Name of our Elohim is written in Hebrew it is translated in English as "Adonai". I wonder why can't it be at least written as YHWH even if you can't say it out loud. Dear sister, this isn't a ln issue only with your lessons but all translations even the Bible translations in all languages. Who removed the Name of Elohim for all other nations from the Scriptures and why? Many contexts lose their true meanings because of it. Moreover they also changed the original names and transliterated them to also loose their meanings. There are many adons and many elohim but only One is YHWH Elohim, YHWH Echad. We should at least see His Name if we are not allowed to say it. But taking His Name in vain, does not mean not to ever call it out loud, since it is written that " ... because he knows My Name ..." psalm 91:14-15, but it means that we should not dishonor His name by misrepresenting Him, in the same manner in which the priests and the Pharisees always did it. Yahshua our Adonai called them on it also, that's why they hated Him. The Torah should filter the rabbinic tradition, not vice-versa. Sister this has nothing to do with you whom I love, it has to do with me, because my heart burns and aches because of our ways to destroy Elohim's commands and twist them to benefit our foolish desires or imagination. Just like Adonai Yahshua said, they destroyed the commandenment in which we are told to honor our parents and made anything that we would want to honor them with Corban, given to Elohim, so it ends up in the priests pockets. Please forgive me for my rant, but I believe it is Ruach Ha Qodesh Who makes me burn for His Name. We should acknowledge publicly YHWH's Name. As we do it when we Praise Yah saying HalleluYAH. See the double standard? I love you and I pray that you will allow this comment to remain so others can see and ponder upon it too. May this blessing which you teach in this video fall upon you always in the mighty Name of Yahshua as He taught us to ask everything from Abba in His name. Ameen!
Shalom, I understand what you are saying and I gave this a LOT of thought and prayers before I decided to put "ADONAI" for יהוה. The main reason is that there is no way "יהוה" can be transliterated correctly, as no one knows the correct/original pronunciation of it (If you haven't yet, watch this video I made about it: ruclips.net/video/LQBrpdiFRLc/видео.html). Another reason is because, it is the Jewish tradition to say "ADONAI" or "Ha'Shem" when we see God's Name "יהוה". So, as a Jew, I naturally say "ADONAI" whenever I see ״יהוה״, so it will be odd to say that and have something else written. Also, YHWH is not a "transliteration" and could also be written as YHVH (depending who you ask...) So, again, there is no "right" way to say it and no "right" way to write it in English. With that said, regardless of how I say it or write it, you should feel free to ignore it and say anything else according to your own conviction and heart. I hope that makes sense. Thank you for watching & God bless you 🙏
I love this aaronic blessing
Thank you and may Adonai bless you and all the people on here and give you peace always 🕊️
I'm so pleased you have done this updated version. Good job
How do you say, "Have mercy on me?"
Thank you for this. A suggestion. When you say the prayer at fluent speed, could you move your marker with the words as you speak?
Where can I get a computer program that I can write Hebrew letters? I was not brought up learning Hebrew but Spanish.
You’re a wonderful teacher. Could you perhaps say the “fluent Hebrew” once slowly before you speed up? Slow learner 😊
You can slow it down with the RUclips video controls :-)
Do you have a word for word lesson on Ana Bekoach?
I would love to learn it word for word. I am playing it on guitar. Your channel is wonderful. Thank you for all you do.
