Jake, great show, Jeff is right on with all his knowledge. I watched this show about a month and a half ago and took it to heart. I Started looking in Hodgeman County Kansas and found a quarter (160 acres) north of Dodge City that fit perfect. It has about 70 acres on a tillable lease and 90 on a pasture lease. Probably will do CRP program next year on the tillable and get that grass growing to give those deer some awesome bedding area.There is so much more I found out about the area by driving from Birmingham to Dodge City and just talking with the locals and surrounding land owners.But, Jeff is definitely on point about Kansas!
