We are a Foundation that operates only through private donations. Have a look at www.mimi-foundation.org.Thank you again!
I can imagine doing this for people that have lost limbs... have them stand against a white wall and have an artist paint something amazing that appears to be coming out of someones missing arm or leg or foot.
This is absolutely beautiful. I lost my mother to cancer and I'm glad there are those like yourselves working to better the lives of patients. Brought tears to my eyes. =']
AMAZINGLY TOUCHING and BRILLIANT! I have shared this video on Facebook. This is not only a great foundation, but a foundation built on compassion and using the "smile" as a medicine. It doesn't get any better than this. BRAVO!!
I have just one word for you guys: WOW! I have always wanted do something like this to humanity myself. When I finish my university and graduate in a few years I will start making people happy! :)
My grandma was in this video (3:33), she was fighting a breast then lungs and finally uterus cancer. She got euthanized 3 years after fighting for over 2 years of her life. Today it’s her birthday and seeing this makes me heart happy. She was a wonderful human being and was such an exemple, I love you and miss you so much. Thank you for this video
I have saved this video years ago, and till this day I find myself re-watching it over and over. The pure smile and laughs they have make me feel good. Especially when I'm having an awful day like today.
This made me laugh. Then it made me cry. Then it made me laugh again. Brilliantly beautiful! Thank you for bringing moments of joy to these precious people!
Love this. I lost my father to cancer and my father in law was recently diagnosed. Sometimes it takes a spark and a moment of being carefree to really make a difference in their lives.
please educate your father-in-law on cannabis oil. he doesn't have to die. please research this and find a way to get it or make it yourselves. there are so many places now where cannabis is legal or medically legal; and there is always a way. good luck and deep peace to you and your family. i hope that you take this advice. you won't regret it and neither will your father-in-law. peace.

Thank you, to all the talented and generous people who helped these cancer patients have their 'second of carefreeness'. Though I think that one second actually lasted far long in their spirits. It gave them something beautiful, magical and perfect, to remember, over and over.
Cancer is one of, if not the toughest challenge to the human spirit. My heart goes to all afflicted by it. Watching these brave people smile brings a tear and a HUGE smile to me.
Very touching! Sent to me by my daughter who is beautiful without hair right now, because of chemo for colon cancer. Thank you Stacey for sending it to me! I love you very much and I am in awe of your awesome attitude through your ordeal! This video is so sweet!
To see people around the world with outstanding ideas, to make people happy and laughing for a while, to bring a lightened moment into inner darkness... so touching ♥
Overwhelmed with this. I am currently fighting triple negative breast cancer. I am 31 and this has taken me by surprise. I wish I could be a part of something awesome like this. So wonderful.
This made my heart ache and smile at the same time. This video also reminded me of how precious each second in your life is. I love the cute transformation and the crazy wigs too.
Beautiful, this made me tear up. Bless you who did this for these people. You give me hope for the world, cause there is still people out there who have love in their soul. Thank you
A record of a moment of joy that will be forever stored in the memory of all who had the privilege to participate and to have access to this video. #exciting #authentic and #verycreative. :)
I lost my daughter Mimi yes Mimi to cancer the day before her 31st. birthday. I love this video. I had all but forgotten when we went to pic out the wig. We laughed so hard that day. We would just pick one out and try it on. It was so much fun. Thank you for what you do
Absolutely beautiful video! Definitely cried a little. What gorgeous people!!

Loved watching this, it is true that to forget an illness anyone of us is afflicted by, releases positive enzymes that can actually help in a pathway to a cure. May all beings be released from suffering.
I think that some people interpret this as "you are beautiful as you are", and that you shouldn't need all the make-up and so on to be carefree. The media today blows beauty out of proportion, it can make many people, that have lost their looks due to a illness of some sort, have a bad image of themselves. I think that it is great that they can have this "second", but they shouldn't HAVE to just have THIS second.. they could have the rest of their life.. just sayin :)
Jabbzz1 It's not trying to make them 'beautiful'. It's trying to make their appearance larger than life and whacky; to give them a moment of care free joy when they see how they look in the mirror haha
Yeah, I understand that. But I am saying that appearance is a product of our society (wow, i am sounding like a hippie :P), and it should HAVE to be like that. But yeah, taking that in mind of course I get it :)
I was moved to purchase the book because MIMI goes past the ordinary mundane help or thought to be helpful. They and the Center in general, have created a uniquely awesome healing perspective. This would be for those outside trying to grasp what our family and friends truly feel or need, but more importantly for our loved ones who deserve such strength in kindness and TLC, which MIMI certainly provides. This should be duplicated the world over. WOW. Incredible. Thank you very much.
Take a bow Mimi Foundation. I lost my aunt to cancer few weeks ago and she went through a lot of physical and emotional turmoil for close to a couple of months prior to that. I really appreciate your effort to ease their lives a bit.
My wife lost her 12 year battle with NHL this February. We had a lot of carefree moments during our 47 years together, including the last 12. I thank MIMI for this video. The first time Maril lost her hair (she wound up losing it three times, it grew back differently each time) she was bummed out, but trying not to be bummed out because logically she knew it would happen, but the reality was harder. So I shaved my head, walked in with a cap on as she sat in the living room watching TV, and whipped off the cap and said "It's the new style, all the rage". One of the better things I did as a husband. Damn, I miss her.
After several years of seeing loss and the side of humanity in suffering, it is truely wonderful to finally see this side of humanity. Most people never want to see the sick. There's a social barrier or stigma, but those whom feel this way forget that the sick are still human, still feel, love, and hurt. How amazing it is to see the outer edges of the human soul in the one second that you've captured. Thank you.
Hermoso video. Me emocionó hasta las lágrimas. Yo sufrí de cáncer y entiendo y siento la emoción de todas estas personas. Felicitaciones, bello trabajo.
May god be with them , shade them with his mercy and help them become better individuals , we all have our struggles but we shouldn't give up , Fight for you last breath
Humans are great. It's really interesting to see how we humans act the same way when we're excited, sad or in pain...I mean, look at their faces, all the same when they saw how they were. Like...who said we should smile and not cry when we're happy? Humans....
Beautiful.. made me cry. 1038 people need to re-think their emotional plane for humanity. Can't believe 9 years! And I still cry seeing this... God bless each and every one of these precious gifts from God.
this video makes me think of my grandmother who passed of cancer last year. i can't help but get emotional over the battle that all these beautiful people are going through. what you are doing to help them forget, even for a second that they are sick is truly a great thing. GOD will reward your kindness in ways beyond your comprehension. MERCI MILLE FOIS POUR TOUT CE QUE VOUS FAITES!!!
Most beautiful pictures ever taken. I may not have cancer, but I've been dealing with another form of cancer for over 10 years, depression. There is nothing I miss more than feeling carefree
So very heartwarming, seeing those who are in pain just to forget their miseries even just for a moment. It made me cry a little bit. God bless these people who made these patients very happy.
What a wonderful video! May all the patients live joyfully with their health restored; that is my Christmas wish. And thanks to all who participated in giving them a moment of contentment.
Thanx Angel for this creation. Its what bring the dignity and self-love for one who live with Cancer. I remember the day I wend with my (passed on) wife to take all hair away after Chemo and how it was powerful in her path when I show her how beautiful she is... seeing from my heart. ♥ This project gives life.. love & light to all. ♥
This is so amazing to see how they react and how cool it is for those people to remember that one second they forget about their illness and were in complete happiness. And they can look back on that moment whenever they want to which will bring back so much happiness to them whenever they're feeling down about their illness.
Almost too much to watch. Tears came immediately to my eyes - and I am a 68 year old man. Wonderful and may my gracious God be with these precious people so they can heal.

As a cancer survivor and professional photographer......I consider this one of the best videos on youtube!! I love this!!
I have saved this video years ago, and till this day I find myself re-watching it over and over. The pure smile and laughs they have make me feel good. Especially when I'm having an awful day like today.
Made me cry. Not an elegant rolling tear, but full gasps and red eyes. May we all be in the moment, all the time.
Superb!

This video brought me to tears... you guys are amazing for doing this
