For putting it on my back, I turned my base over so the tree side is up and then turned the seating section towards me so it can hook itself over the base. Then you don’t need the bungee cords and is a little quicker/quieter when setting up 👍🏼 great video
one thing to note. you want to strap the top part to the tree when you reach your desired height. it comes with a strap for that. you can also use that strap to cinch the bottom of the two parts together for backpacking.

I have gotten busted by a lot of animals trying to get a shot over the years. The stand would make the tree cry when I shifted my weight or make some creak or squeak. Just part of it right. 2 happy days in my life was when I bought it and when I sold it. No bs, not here to make you mad and I hope I don't. Just give the S.M.A.R.T. one stix method a look see. I don’t know what you got going on to have the stand sticking so far off your back but the bottom platform slides into the seat platform. You can bring the seat under and bungee to the to the top so it can be used as a back cushion while carrying. Also, always put the seat platform on the tree first so you can slide it up high and out of the way.

First of all, you didn’t attach any safety harness that you should be wearing. when you climb up the tree. you’re supposed to attach yourself to the tree that’s number one before you start climbing .you’re teaching people how to climb a tree without a safety harness! You also didn’t show anybody how your feet are attached to the bottom of the stand when you climb and you’re supposed to sit your ass on the top part of the stand on that bar in the back.🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️Smh

I used My dad’s climber a couple times when we lived in PA. Takes leg muscles man!
Used it to scale trees in his backyard also to trim his trees

I hunt in cold weather. When I get up the tree I'm so sweaty that I end up freezing after a few hours.
