I bought Ready To Die back in September of 94. I heard Everyday Struggle and lost my mind, it instantly became my favorite song on the album because of the sample. I immediately went out to find the original song and I bought the album, Mountain Dance. Unbeknownst to me, I learned that it is one of the greatest jazz albums...EVER! I recommend this album to any music lover. 💯✌❤

This song is so smooth. Good music is universal. Transcends time, nationalities, age groups etc. When I was a kid growing up in the 80's and 90's we learned music appreciation. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles exposed us to all kinds of music from all eras. One minute one was listening to Mozart, the next James Brown, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, the list goes on. That is why we could recognize a sample in a rap song and know the original. It is my hope that ones that sampled paid the artist their just due. And the younger generation had the gumption to find out where it came from. Therefore expose a new generation to the one that preceded it............ I hate to keep saying this but, today's music is just lacking.
