No one could equal Rock Hudson as the handsomest and the most kindhearted actor Hollywood ever had. He totally had no celebrity complex in his bones. A good and humble individual. He is resting in peace now.
Doris Day, needed to promote her Charity event. Rock Hudson joined her, even though he was very very ill. Rock passed 3mths later in 1985. A friend in need, is a friend indeed = Rock Hudson ⭐️❤️⭐️
What a beautiful man RH was. Not only in body but also in soul. His long-time friend and assistant said of his passing that he requested to be cremated and his ashes be sprinkled at sea. He said when they sprinkled his ashes the most beautiful rainbow appeared over the waters whr they were sprinkled.👍🏾🌈😊
‘’Pillow Talk” is my favourite of his films and my favourite of Doris Day’s too. It’s perfect entertainment ; hilariously funny, glamorous, colourful and brilliantly acted, right down to the smallest bit-player.
Very handsome man he’d charm the birds out off the trees. Had the package all right dark tall and handsome man no one couled take that from him rip handsome man Wel all ways love yu ❤❤
I didn't and don't care of his love life. To me he was a super star . He was the best Actor. The stars nowadays could take lessons from his ruggedness and ability to be each person he portrayed. People need to understand that If you are gay, good for you. You deserve happiness like everyone else. Your preference on you wants and needs are who you are. I cried when I seen what the ravages of the decease did to this man.
My favourite Rock Hudson movie is Pillow Talk with Doris Day; one scene has him scrubbing a list of female friends , which showed that he was left handed, like myself R.I.P. Rock Hudson
I'm glad that you had the courage to mention about Rock Hudson's deathbed salvation... I've just learned about it 1 1/2 hours ago... thanks for sharing.
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
Thank goodness that we are really starting to accept everyone. Yes the world is in a mess but we are evolving as human beings to realize that God does not make mistakes. We are all here for a purpose. Rock Hudson was a Star of that I am sure however not one of his movies is as important as his Legacy. His death brought more understanding and the beginning of serious research into this pervasive chronic disease. Rock Hudson you did a great job so RIP. ❤
My favorite Rock Hudson film is This Earth is Mine, where he plays the illegitimate scion of a wine-making dynasty. I appreciate this old movie even more now that I live next door to the wine country. I read somewhere how seriously Rock Hudson prepared for the part where he explains to his leading lady, Jean Simmons, how wine is made. More impressive was his training on how to graft a grapevine, quite tricky to do, since Hudson was left-handed. Nevertheless, he had to learn it well, because it was the final episode in the film. (I wrote a review of This Earth is Mine in Amazon, but all I did was gush over how gorgeous Rock Hudson is in that movie.) But my favorite Rock Hudson scene is in Pillow Talk, where he was on the phone with Doris Day, alternately pestering her as Brad Allen (whom she hates) and wooing her as Rex Stenson (whom she loves.) It was hilarious and you could tell by the way he laughs, that Rock Hudson was truly enjoying that scene.
Thank you for this video. It’s so heartwarming to know that Rock Hudson came back to the faith on his deathbed. Eternal rest grant unto Rock Hudson, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
Rock Hudson and Jim Nabors were "good buddies" back in the early 1960s. (Good Buddies is old school 🏫 trucker slang for homosexuals) They were both very talented actors aside from this proclivity. I never thought any less of either of them for it.
I have got three movie DVDS of Rock Hudson in Battle Hymn and in Hornets Nest with John Wayne and Ben Johnson in The Undefeated I am dedicating these movie DVDS to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris Marie and Hester Brand from Billyxxxxx
If people were not so judgmental. It wouldn’t matter what sex we truly are. God is more understanding then people know. People whom are abused sexually tend to become bi-sexual. God does not hate gays or any body’s sexuality. God loves us all. ❤Elizabeth Taylor was a very caring and understanding woman. I don’t care that he was sexually out there. When your young you do almost anything for a connection with anybody. Love is love❤
I love the fact that he accepted Jesus Christ on his deathbed. Good for him. My parents loved him. Excellent actor. The same can be said about Liberace. I just feel sorry for both men. They were immensely talented. They were no more sinful than anyone else.
Rock Hudson was a handsome man, a talented actor, and a delightful comedian. I am guessing his affairs with women were partly to hide his homosexual liasons, but he was probably bisexual. It's part of the gay spectrum and the current acronym. I loved his movies and my faves were the ones he did with Doris Day. I also enjoyed "All that Heaven Allows", and "Magnificent Obsession" with Jane Wyman (former wife of President Reagan).
The ONLY thing I am VERY GLAD FOR with Rock Hudson That He gave his life to Jesus Christ in his last days. Then he can find the real Heaven that He did not find on the Earth
This is not true, he did kiss Linda Evans and never told her he had aids. Linda found out that he had aids from the media after he kissed her. She was afraid she might have caught it.
Being openly gay didn't hurt liberace. It didn't hurt other actors either. Hudson was In love with himself. He was on the selfish side. Yes there were other actors as cowardly as him those years. He waited too long until at death door from aids to come out. He does not impress.
Very sad that people have to hide their true selves even today I was 5 when rock Hudson died but my mother loved him. Now I am hearing that he has 3 children with different women and also his lover sued his estate for with holding his diagnosis !! Is this where the law came from that a person could go to jail for not revealing his status ??
I remember the rumor about him being married to Jim Nabors. My cousin was talking about it one night. At the age of 13, I was young and naive. That was my first knowledge of homosexuality. Couldn't understand how a man can marry another man. I asked my cousin how is it they have sex, he told me: "in the butt." LOL, true story.
Hope he really did receive Jesus and believe on Christ for his salvation. The death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sin by faith. 1 CORINTHIANS 15
I would love to hear Anthony Perkins story because he was openly gay but got married and had 2 children and his wife was pregnant when. He died of aids. She then died in the WTC ATTACKS 9/11 she was in flight 77 the 1st plane to hit and never contracted aids from her husband ???!!!!
Not it wasn't a waste. He loved men because he was gay. Not having sex with a woman is not waste. That's homophobia coming from you. Having sex with men is equally glorious as having it with women. It's because of the Bible thumpers that gays were ostracized until recently. Thank God there are gay rights to thwart homophobia
Did you know? "The Sinner's Is Unbiblical!" Also: Leviticus 18:22 (King James Holy Bible) 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
If only adhering to this and the many other biblical principles could save us from the trials and tribulations of human existence! The simple reality of life, however, is that any sane, mentally alert person who lives long enough will realize is that life has its ups and downs, regardless of the wisdom he or she goes by.

I love all of the movies that him and Doris Day did. Together.
She invited him to stay and rest in his final months. He stayed with her for a few days.
My favorite memory of this courageous man is of kindness...
Pillow talk was so funny both Doris and him self. Went so good two geather
I can remember as a kid people saying they had heard that he was a homosexual. So I think his secret was not really a secret as much as people think.
No but he chose not to disclose it publicly for obvious reasons as homosexuality was not socially acceptable at the time
He was also married for three years. The lady divorced him. Larry King had her interviewed and she told about her marriage with Rock Hudson.

Rock’s sexuality was common knowledge in the 50’s and 60’s.

I really enjoyed rock in the movie giant 😊
Us too! Giant is one of Rock's career-defining roles. Which comes in at second place?
My favorite role of his was that of Jordan "Bick" Benedict in Giant, opposite Elizabeth Taylor and my distant blood cousin, James Dean.
