I passed with a 95 and I used rad tech boot camp, lots and lots of quizlet, and Mosby's Comprehensive Review (specifically their online testing that comes with the book). I took mock exams every day, sometimes twice a day and picked apart each and every question. Also, I took the registry exam the day after graduation so the information would be fresh in my head.
Absolutely! I totally agree. The downside is that it's information gained over the course of 2 or so years. This warrants a refresher of things that you might have forgotten along the way.
Hi! I’m a rad tech student and I am currently finishing up my first quarter of my program. I’ve been doing intense research on how to prepare for the ARRT exam and what tools to use to properly study for it. Thank you so much for your video, I feel a bit more at ease now and I will be looking into what you provided here :)
Excellent video!!!, I just finished my clinical rotations today just need the right tools to pass that board. Thank you for sharing your experiences and the resources used.
I just learned of this exam. I have not been practicing good study habits and have been coasting through the prerequisite courses before reaching the medical campus next semester. Im very nervous, but glad I learned of this exam this far out. I will absolutely be investing in these books.
@@TejRecordz I didn’t end up doing radiology! My school only accepted 75 students for the program annually in summer. I didn’t know this, assumed I could just sign up. My advisor was pretty upset for me bc I was also at the time work studying at one of the campus so she for sure could have pulled some strings. I was using my GI bill and it was my main source of income, so it was either wait a year out of school, or switch gears. I went the LMT route and I love it. That intro to radiology class was perfect bc I learned all the bones, then had a leg up already when I had to learn origin and insertions in massage school. I’m really enjoying the feild, people love their massage therapist. Best job I’ve ever had. Also did phlebotomy while I waited on my massage license!
I’m starting my career in radiography soon and this really helped a lot. If I have any questions I’ll be sure to shoot you an email . I appreciate this video . I just think in my opinion I want to be mentored the whole way
Hey!! I am not sure if this is an option for the actual test, it was for my CQR. Things might be different now that things are opening up. It was very nice!
Hi, I’m currently about to take the test again for a second time. Is there anything you could recommend? Each time I’ve scored higher however I would die to know if and where I could find the cd rom from Kaplan! Ty ❤️
Honestly, the used one should work just fine. There has been some changes with technology that might not be reflected in the book, but you'll have other resources to fill in that gap.
@@yungkheezey701 I would start with Amazon to see if they have published a new version of the study material. However, if there is no recent version, I think that the older versions would still be a huge benefit.
I'm experiencing the same situation, Kaplan book is a mission everything is used which I don't mind, the thing is when you ask the sellers they don't guarantee the book will come with the CD-ROOM. Iam currently using Lange Radiology exam 12 edition highly recommend.
Honesty, that wasn't something that I heard about back then. I did go to a seminar in Detroit and I thought it was a flop...I was more interested in the lunch than the information they provided. Rad boot camp might be a great resource!
Yes. You can expect some physics and formulas. However, I cannot tell you ONE time I've used them after taking the classes. The majority would be positioning and pathology vs. physics. You can do this!
Yes. I took it at the actual Pearson Vue testing center. It was obviously prior to this pandemic, so they might have other options, such as the online option.

Congrats!! I know you are more than relieved to have this chapter close!! Thank you for sharing!! Keep up the good work!
All you have to do is take it as soon as you graduate, the information is fresh in your head.

I FELT that image production gif 😂😂😂 like what in the worldddd 😭 I can’t stand it

Where can i get a new copy of kaplan. Everything are used

Ok lol, but you didn’t answer the question. Where do you think i can get the new book?

is there a lot of math and physics involved in the program and the exam? and is it difficult? those two subjects make me nervous

@@oneuniquelife8495 ahh ok, thank you so much!
Is this for Limited x ray tech too?
Not sure about the limited tech. First I've heard about it.
hi, please i just got my document evaluated by WES, what next do i need to do? can anyone be of help to run me through the steps
I am sorry, what is WES?
I have completed by BRIT from India
Am I eligible for ARRT exam??
I wish I knew about that, however I am sure a quick Google search might help you out :)
if you take the exam online, is it through pearson vue?
Yes. I took it at the actual Pearson Vue

Can you share any notes?
Quite honestly, if I still had them, my notes would confuse you 🙃😅...what did you have questions about? You can do this!
Take mines May 10th 2022
Good luck on your Test!!! Hope you passed what did you study?
@@lovettajones-duncan7891 Fail it...was more physics on there than anything..going to study clover and Corretech next was my 1st time taking it😔
Just pick up the pieces and go hard at it again. You have 3 tries and I am confident you can get it done!
@@oneuniquelife8495 its gonna be okay you had to take it to know what to expect. I have been studying rad tech bootcamp, and Mosbys.
Mosby's was my #1 Go-to. I've heard a lot of good reviews for the Boot camp and Correctech (sp).
