I used corectech and BoardVitals, but corectech was most similar to the boards for me. I also ordered the mosby book (comes with tests inside for each section + 3 200 Q tests, as well as an online tests/study questions + flash card feature) instead of the Lange book like most people do and I thought that was very helpful as well! As long as you get a 75 or higher, that is passing. I got a 90 and I personally think that’s a great score

Hello! I hope everything is going well. I'm going to take my ARRT for the second time on Dec. For my first time I used the Radiography Prep by D.A. Saia, I didn't pass for a few points. My daughter will be majoring in Radiation therapy this fall. I see that you are using a mac. Any issues with software on macbooks? I ask this because I hear alot of the software is.more windows based and she was asking for a macbook and I was waiting on the new ones coming out this fall.
I take my exam in a couple days and is it ok that I’m just relying on rad tech boot camp practice exam scores? I recently got a score in the 80s so I’m happy about that but I’m just afraid that there’s going to be different types of questions on the actual exam itself
@@JuliaKristine yeah I heard that’s too that why I thought I was ready but I failed by two points… 😭 I’m so afraid everything from the past two years is going to be for nothing now. I never imagined I would have ever had to take it for a third time 😞
hello! I’m a senior in high school rn and exploring careers and I’ve been watching so many of your videos ☺️ I was wondering if as a rad tech u every have to insert needles into patients?
Hey, I’m a first year. From what I have seen so far we don’t have to work with needles. I think the “worst” that they won’t tell you, is having to give enemas. So far no needles involved tho!
Hey @julia. I graduate X-ray school in 6 months & I want to know if it’ll be wiser for me to order material now? Did you use the Lange radiography examination book? I was going to get the Radtech book camp as well!
@@latroyawilson8276 Rad Tech Boot Camp. And I don’t know how your program is laid out, but if it’s like mine was, we did clinical and our classes at the same time so it wasn’t worth it for me to study for boards 6 months ahead of time since I hadn’t learned all the material yet. If your program is laid out where you did all of your class work in your first year, clinical in the second - then yes, 6 months in advance is probably a good time to start and refresh!
Well, my program is fast. It’s 4 weeks per classes. My classes & clinicals are mixed in together.. next month I’ll be going to clinicals then another clinicals
Hey Julia! Thank you so much I’ve been studying the Bootcamp & it’s been helpful! Hopefully it pays off in the next couple weeks wen I take registry! I’ve been doing the exams at the end in each section.. did you go through all the exams at the back?
Hi, I was wondering what did you end up scoring? I’m taking my test this March, and I’m mainly using rad tech boot camp, a Lange book, and a mosbys book.
Hey Girl!! 2nd year student here with boards approaching in 3 months, I found your video SO helpful with navigating RTBC on the computer. You mentioned I can access it on my phone, is there an app?? I can't find it🙏🏼
Congrats. I just got accept to radiography acceptance on this fall. Do you know wheee can buy used book for Bontrager’s textbooks and handbook? Or do you want to sell yours to me ☺️
I won’t be selling my Bontrager books as I will need to use them in the future because of CQR. I don’t know where you can buy used books though. I’d suggest Googling it!
I’m about 3 months away from finishing and going to take boards soon. I was debating on either rad tech boot camp, rad review East, and board vitals. I asked my friend who passed last year and he said board vitals was great, wondering if you’ve heard of it?
This video is just my experience when I used it in July of 2020. You can reach out to info@cloverleaflearning.com for any questions or concerns with their website
Hi Julia, thanks for sharing your experience with us. You videos are well organized and focus to the subjects. I will start radiology school in one week and I’m looking to find sources which will help me during the school time and definitely will give me a good hand for taking Boards. I have read about RTBC and posted question on Facebook on groups with professional rad techs and it resulted that all their comments recommend that it’s to early to get RTBC since in the beginning of the program. While I totally understand your point in recommending it as a good choose even from the beginning. It is not about spending that it’s more about the fact that: 1. I’m not going to use it due to a lot of volume in school and no time to go through it. 2. most of it I am not going to understand in my very begging. I emailed to the the course and got an email reply with general info from the person you named “Ari”, it not answer to my question. Therefore, I’m in the middle of a decision? Can you give any advice about this situation. Thanks ang wish you good luck in your career as RT.
The timeframe that someone chooses to purchase a subscription to RadTechBootCamp is going to be completely unique to each individual. I personally said in this video that for myself and for my grades at the time, I wish I had RTBC to help me learn physics. I had to take physics in my very first semester of the program, therefore it would have been helpful from the very start. I'm not sure what your question is that you emailed to Ari. What is the question you're asking me?
@@JuliaKristine thank you for reaching out to me. I agree with you to the point that it will help in physics because these 2 days my program is giving us videos from RTBC to understand physics. This makes me realize that I really should get it ASAP. I'VE CONTACTING WITH SOMEONE FROM CLOVER company as well. Thank you for your answer Julia and keep doing great in your career.
Congratulations on passing your registry! I have my exam schedule soon and I came across you video I want to purchase radtechbootcamp but the discount code does not work.
Thank you. It is listed in the description box that the discount works on the monthly subscription, but I will email Ari from RTBC to see if the code was inactivated early by mistake
Hey girl! I start radiography school next week! Did your program teach you just x ray or was MRI, and CT / PET included? Also how many months did you give yourself to study for the exam?
Hi! It was strictly a radiography based program. We had the opportunity to shadow through all modalities to see if we had any interest though. I started studying in April and took my boards in July!
So I have rtbc, and I have a tab that says exam prep, but I do not see a tab that says mock exam, where it gives me an option of the 1000 practice questions you showed and mentioned. Would I have to pay additional fees to get this feature/tab?
If you see the pinned comment on this video, I mentioned that some things on RTBC have changed! As you probably can tell visibly, there is a big difference between the screen I shared in this video and what yours looks like now. That’s because they updated and made changes to their website! I’ll be doing an updated video soon
If you read the bottom of the description box, it states "This video is not sponsored." meaning I was not/am not paid by RTBC to make this video. This is my honest opinion and this is what I used to study for my exam. I attempted to use Lange book, but their questions were extremely wordy and confusing.
Wow so i have had ratech boot camp my entire school and i graduated in may... i didn't use it much at all but i will be taking my test august 31 2020. this passed few months i have been using the question bank and the mock exams from radtechbootcamp. i make mid 90's and 100's on them.. im still nervous and scared to pass the test.. i just dont feel prepared still
They are very, very different. Radiologic technologists take xrays and assist with fluoroscopic procedures, as well as run a machine in surgical procedures in the operating room. Radiation therapists treat cancers per a physician's orders with precise beams of radiation - more similar to Computed Tomography
I legally can’t speak about what was on the test, but RTBC prepared me the most. If you’re curious what type of question formats are on the exam, the ARRT exam book shows the potential formats!
Hey Julia, I'm a 2nd year, but I feel like a 1st year still (thanks Covid). I have been watching your videos and I think I should definitely subscribe to RTBC but since I have 8 months till graduation I want to get the yearly option. Did they offer you a discount referral code for yearly by any chance? I tried the one you posted but it only works in the shopping cart for monthly. Thanks in advance! And congrats on your license and new job!

My daughter will be majoring in Radiation therapy this fall. I see that you are using a mac. Any issues with software on macbooks? I ask this because I hear alot of the software is.more windows based and she was asking for a macbook and I was waiting on the new ones coming out this fall.
My mac was great during my program! It's been super reliable. Mine is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Thank you for this! 👌🤩💗
I take my exam in a couple days and is it ok that I’m just relying on rad tech boot camp practice exam scores? I recently got a score in the 80s so I’m happy about that but I’m just afraid that there’s going to be different types of questions on the actual exam itself
I've heard many people say the practice tests they take are "harder." I hope it went well for you!
@@JuliaKristine yeah I heard that’s too that why I thought I was ready but I failed by two points… 😭 I’m so afraid everything from the past two years is going to be for nothing now. I never imagined I would have ever had to take it for a third time 😞
Are you still studying from boot camp? Or something else?
Having trouble getting rad tech boot camp on my Iphone. any tips?
The only thing that sucks is the the discount code only works for the monthly and not the annual subscription
I mentioned that the discount is for the subscription, so that wouldn’t include the yearly because it’s a one-time charge.
I just got into the program, what is their website? The one on the description doesn’t open for me
I just updated the description box! Sorry about that
Did you think mock exams on Rad Tech Boot Camp were a similar format to AART boards?
Yes
Was thinking the same thing. I ran into rtbc but my professor and others keep pushing radview.
@@laurey1jjgr our program includes RTBC. We get a membership while we are still in the program.
@@JuliaKristine Thanks again! It feels very good to know that.
@@eahowe82 i wish my school did that lol we have to find our own arrt exam study aid
What is the avg. salary of a Radiologic technologist there..?
Hey @julia. I graduate X-ray school in 6 months & I want to know if it’ll be wiser for me to order material now? Did you use the Lange radiography examination book? I was going to get the Radtech book camp as well!
I did use the Lange book only because it was required for my Registry Prep class. I wasn’t a huge fan of it!
So what did you majority use? Was it the flash cards and Radtech Bootcamp?
Also do you think should start studying now?
I scored a 90
@@JuliaKristine woah! Awesome! Thanks for replying
@@JuliaKristine did you just do the boot camp?
Hey Girl!! 2nd year student here with boards approaching in 3 months, I found your video SO helpful with navigating RTBC on the computer. You mentioned I can access it on my phone, is there an app?? I can't find it🙏🏼
No app, just used the website on my web browser ☺️
So I’m taking an online class to get my limited radiologic permit. Do you think this is something that would be helpful for that?
Not sure, you would have to email them and ask!
Julia Kristine thank you for your reply. by the way, you are really beautiful 🤗
I’m about 3 months away from finishing and going to take boards soon. I was debating on either rad tech boot camp, rad review East, and board vitals. I asked my friend who passed last year and he said board vitals was great, wondering if you’ve heard of it?
Omg I’m 3 months away as well ! Congratulations
I've heard of Board Vitals, but didn't use it
Julia Kristine thanks for responding!
What did u score ? How many hours a day did u study ? And nice video.
90 & 2-3 hours per day for the month leading up to my exam
what score were you getting on the practice exams because I cannot get higher than a 75% so I’m stressing because my test is in 3 days
85-90%
Hello Julia. I am a student preparing for this year boards. Is there another coupon code you have?
Unfortunately no!
So we cant have a practice exam with 1000 questions now? thats frustrating
This video is just my experience when I used it in July of 2020. You can reach out to info@cloverleaflearning.com for any questions or concerns with their website
hey julie,
I take my exam this week and I was wondering
did you feel like the ASRT seal exams were harder than the actual test?
They were comparable
Hi kaleia, was the ASRT exams harder than the actual test after taking your registry ?
what was your score? i am a little nervous, this is my last semester and there is just so much to study
92! You’ve got this!
Does the practice questions save your progress? The one that has over 1k questions
Unfortunately no!
Is the ARRT multiple choice only or writter as well?
No written questions, but you can see the potential question formats on the ARRT exam handbook!
Can this be used for ARRT radiation therapy ?
No, this is for Radiography
Hi Julia. Is it useful for MRI technologist
No it is a program for Rad Techs
Thanks for The tips. Have a nice day
Hi. I am finishing my 1st semester. Is it early or good time to start preparing for arrt?
I would think it’s too early. How many semesters is your program?
@@JuliaKristine 5 semesters. I found your answer in your video. Thank you.
How did you get on RTBC on your phone? Do they have an app?
No I used Safari!
@@JuliaKristine thank you! Our school brought us a one year subscription to RTBC and I’ve really enjoyed using it!
That’s awesome!!!
Congrats✨ Been waiting for this video 🙌🏻 My exam day is August 4 and I am using RadTechBootCamp💯
Good luck!!
Will radtechbootcamp be beneficial just to help me study while I am still in the program? Or just to study for boards? Thanks luv!
I answered that question in this video. It will help with both.
Indian radiographor can give ARRT exam
congrats on getting those credentials 😊
Do you still have that discount code?
I do not! :(
Even radiation therapy can make use of this book ...?
This is a website, not a book. I don't believe this follows the Rad Therapy curriculum.
Okay, I have some doubt on this ARRT exam ,can u guide me in proper way ?
Congratulations on passing your registry!
I have my exam schedule soon and I came across you video I want to purchase radtechbootcamp but the discount code does not work.
Thank you.
It is listed in the description box that the discount works on the monthly subscription, but I will email Ari from RTBC to see if the code was inactivated early by mistake
@@JuliaKristine Thanks for the response, I tried using on the monthly subscription and it states "code is invalid".
I emailed him and will get back to you once I hear back
He said it should work now! Sorry for that issue!
Julia Kristine what is the discount code?
Does RTBC have an app?
They do not!
Perfect!
what was your score just curious?
90
So I have rtbc, and I have a tab that says exam prep, but I do not see a tab that says mock exam, where it gives me an option of the 1000 practice questions you showed and mentioned. Would I have to pay additional fees to get this feature/tab?
If you see the pinned comment on this video, I mentioned that some things on RTBC have changed! As you probably can tell visibly, there is a big difference between the screen I shared in this video and what yours looks like now. That’s because they updated and made changes to their website!
I’ll be doing an updated video soon
To become an LMRT you have to pass all the sections? or how does that work because saw there is a core and like 5 other modules correct?
I’m not an LMRT, so you would have to google!
I’m already using rtbc and am getting ready to take the exam soon... does it really work though or are you just advertising for them? Thanks
If you read the bottom of the description box, it states "This video is not sponsored." meaning I was not/am not paid by RTBC to make this video.
This is my honest opinion and this is what I used to study for my exam. I attempted to use Lange book, but their questions were extremely wordy and confusing.
ARRT fir MRI or x-ray?
radiography! it means xray
@@JuliaKristine the ray boards are different than MRI boards?
@@jerrymccorkle8907 Yes. Every modality has its own ARRT boards exam
@@JuliaKristine does radtech have an MRI based boot camp or only ct and xray
@@jerrymccorkle8907 From what I Googled, they don’t offer an MRI program

I'm getting the same experience as you with the mock exams. I just don't feel like I'm studying enough. How did your exam go!? (:
@@julietran1613 i passed with an 81!!
@@zyrf1167 Congrats! Did you feel RTBC was helpful? I take mine in a week.
Yes very. I would have not passed without it!!
Congratulations Julia and dying to know what was your score? love your videos!
Both preliminary & final were scored at 90! Thank you ☺️
We love you channel and as well as your hair it’s so freakin cute cut and color
is your job different than a radiation therapist? or is a tech the same.
They are very, very different. Radiologic technologists take xrays and assist with fluoroscopic procedures, as well as run a machine in surgical procedures in the operating room. Radiation therapists treat cancers per a physician's orders with precise beams of radiation - more similar to Computed Tomography
@@JuliaKristine Oh wow thank you for answering my question!❤️ Did you ever think about radiation therapy?
I have a question mine does not show up like this? Is there a new version or something?
Yes, refer to the pinned comment on this video
congratss
Thanks!
Is ARRT questions similar to rad tech boot camp ?
Unfortunately the discount is only for the monthly subscription!
Thank you! Good luck with the rest of your program!
