Not just Canadian TV. Anytime the cast, any cast (Including the Broadway, US Tour, UK, and Australian) performs this piece to the media, they tone down the salty language. 😊
This musical made me cry.... I wish the kevens stayed together 😥..this musical played with my emotions so much and now is my favourite musical ive ever seen
@@baileyellison642 The Southern accent is one of the hardest to get right, and it's especially glaring in this role because the original Beverley, Jenn Colella, is from South Carolina.
I know the Broadway version had a dialect coach. I don't if all do. Our accent and culture is made up of Irish, Scotish, British, French and First Nations. You can't just use an Irish accent to try and pass it off as Newfoundland English roots.
I'm seeing this musical in Ottawa next year in August, which is like so long to wait, but I'm honestly so excited! I'm pretty sure it's gonna be this cast ❤
ok so first of alll love this performance., The man guy mayore wow soo good and soo hottt. The rest was just as good not siure if this was new cast or a tour cast but love this cast koddos and mayor guy hay booo i love you dadddy
I got to see this cast back in 2018, and omg they were INCREDIBLE!!
Oz gives a very different warning to speeders on Canadian TV.

First time hearing the Canadian(?) Cast. A bit different then the album but in a good way. These guys are great!
Veronica Carter u should hear me and the sky. It wouldn’t be bad if she didn’t have a disgustingly fake southern accent that I just can’t get past
Veronica Carter they are amazing irl!
@@baileyellison642 it is funny cuz the original broadway actress can't get the Newfie accent right and it bugs me lol 😂
