At some point in the future I’d love to be able to investigate schemes after the fact. So many times my emperor gets murdered in a scheme, but the heir has no way (outside of getting lucky in a torturing session) of finding out who was responsible. I’d love to be able to launch an investigation after the murder and o find out who ordered it and hold them responsible
That could be paired nicely with a secret society DLC. Imagine your previous character was murdered and you can launch an investigation that slowly uncovers a secret order in your kingdom.

Anna Komnene Angelina did not write the Alexiad, it was completed decades before she was born by the original Anna Komnene, daughter of Emperor Alexios I Komnenos.
1:26 No, that is wrong. You confused Anna Komnene Angelina with Anna Komnene. Anna Komnene is the one that wrote the Alexiad, and is the daughter of Alexios I Komnenos (since the Alexiad is focused on the life and rise to power of Alexios I) and is of the Komnenos dynasty whilst Anna Komnene Angelina is of the Angelos dynasty and did not write the Alexiad. Also she's not the daughter of Alexios I but Alexios III Angelos, who is the son of Andronikos in that bookmark start. It even says in the bookmark that Andronikos is the grandson of Alexios I Komnenos, relating to Alexios I via his daughter, Theodora Komnene, who is Andronikos' mother. But he is of a different dynasty because of Andronikos' father, Constantine Angelos.
glad to have the decline kingdom as an option. Have been trying to do the king of all the isles achievement which requires you to hold less then 80 domains and it keeps getting messed up by random kingdoms choosing my characters as the heir to the thrones and inheriting a large kingdom putting my domains out of whack.
That's odd. In my experience, the nobles of electorate system kingdoms are extremely reluctant to vote for someone who already holds a foreign kingdom title, even if they are closely related to the former ruler (unless they hold a core part of that kingdoms de jure and/or have their capital there).Happened only once to me in over 1000 hours of time in the game.

Very cool, I really like the favorite heir mechanic, it's like you can play an adventurer, carve out a kingdom for yourself, then do it all again slowly establishing your dynasty all over the map I always felt that it was pointless to set my dynasty in other thrones since I'd just end up inheriting it anyways, but this actually makes it pretty appealing
Also it's a more interesting way to play as the heir you want than disinheriting or murdering everyone who comes before your favorite child in succession.
