Vdi was a bit jumpy on the gold ring every time I found gold with the simplex + it's pretty stable looks like a decent machine all the same I especially like the switchable frequency and the fact it takes nox coils I'd like to see how it perfoms in a depth test with a 15 inch coil before I consider buying one
Awesome man I was hoping to see it on the beach so my hat is off to you for the effort. I live close to my local 3 beaches so this I had to see. I agree with the rubbish part but I have to dig through it usually and then get rewarded with a piece of eight like I did 17 years ago next to Loo in Cornwall. :) Using an old minelab at about 6 to 8 inches . :)
Get yourself the X-Terra Pro and it's a rechargeable and you don't have to go get batteries for it but you Do have to with the Vanquish 540 and the X-Terra Pro is water 💧💦 proof and you don't have to worry about it if it gets wet and Or the Park Sprinklers just happened to come on and The kids accidentally spray it and it's cheaper than the Vanquish...... And I have one and I love it ❤️ and I have the X-Terra Pro sensitivity At 12 and still getting Targets
Thank you for the beach video on this particular machine. I understand you don't like the beaches and that's all good. To each their own. Land detecting is cool also I do a lot of both. Well not really the last 16 years I've lived in Arkansas. Don't get to hunt too many beaches here. But I'm getting ready to head back to Northern California. Going back to my homeland. Good luck with your metal detecting I hope you find a Hidden Hoard.
Hi mate. Bit ov a newbie here . I know you have had 100s ov hoirs on the NOx 800. So was wondering if you could help in sending some nice easy settings guides. The ones maybe yourself have uswd over the years. Thank you. And keep up the good work😊
Ahaa, I know. It’s crazy how easily they get winded up lol. They should just stick to their own guns and stop mentioning what competition is doing. Looks like that minelab beat them on their own game this time.
Due to it being waterproof and in the same housing as the Equinox, I would have to go with the X-Terra Pro. But that said m, the 540 is a great machine.
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetectingf you would lowered the sensitivity down below 20 and the jumpy VDI will start to stable out and I have mine set at 12 Sensitivity and I'm still getting Targets that are 4-6 inches deep, but I have no beaches close enough to get there , but the lower sensitivity works for me and anything that isn't a coin will give me a Jumpy VDI and not lock in...... and I Ground Balance almost every time I turn it on but I have forgotten it and when I checked it was still at the last time I had done it. But it's needs to know what is in the ground Or what it has to work with in the ground mineralization and each areas are totally different than the next.......
It depends on a few factors. The short answer is yes it’s a good idea to manually GB each time you arrive at a location. Then periodically throughout you detecting session, however, where I detect I tend to leave all my Minelab machines on 0 and only GB if it it requires it. You also have the option of Tracking GB but it’s not something I tend to use. So in short, yea it’s always a good idea to GB at the start of a session and periodically as you go 👍
Thanks again man lol we have the same shovel lol good to see it stable and not going mad so great value and I'll order one and call you chaps tomorrow best wishes and happy hunting Chris
It's still a Simplex,,bet they are now pissed off ,,but my simplex works just as well only it's as deep on the beach also,,sparky but still works,,p.s. is this Minelab built by Nokta ,???hmmmm
Wow, love the tones. Looks like the X-terra performs well on the beach. I've seen several videos now on this X-terra, I'm now convinced I need one
I’m really enjoying it.
Well done...Xterra is a Winner..make a Great BACK Up

We love the xterra pro!
Just to jump back on here real quick and say your audio was absolutely fine. No problems hearing you at all.
Thanks, it was very windy today and with the crashing of the sea I wondered how good it would be.
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting now you must have a real good windsock on your mic or something because it was blocking about 90% of the Wind.
Got to love a bit of beach detecting. Good luck out there.

How deep the finds ,what size etc ,so what's inland ,,but beach is what we want,,anything works inland ,,
Have you selected a winner for january 22 giveaway ?
How would you rate this machine against the vanquish 540?
Looks like an interesting machine for the money
Nice video, can I ask what pinpointed is that you're using? .
Hi, it’s a Quest Xpointer Max.

Nokta gonna have a meltdown again

Vanquish 540 or x terra? Which is better for you?
Due to it being waterproof and in the same housing as the Equinox, I would have to go with the X-Terra Pro. But that said m, the 540 is a great machine.
I really liked your video, keep it up!
Liked and subscribed aswell :D
Does it come with the wireless headphones. Is it like the nokta simplex plus
It doesn’t come with headphones, they have to be purchased afterwards.
Wich settings was used? What about sensitivity? How much tones used?
All tones
Noise cancel
Ground balance 0
Sensitivity was at 23
Beach mode (8 kHz)
Recovery speed 2
Everything else was factory preset
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting lot of thanks 👍 Seems prety good device. Thank yoou for video and small test
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetectingi think u would like the 5 tones better then all tones...?

I would say it's a professional detector in a professionals hand.
Hello, nice video. Can you tell me how deep could ba a coca cola can in order to be detected with X Terra Pro?
Hi, do you need to manually ground balance every time you turn it on? A reply would be most appreciated.

@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting Thanks for the information.

How about actually using it in the water waist deep . For us real water detectorist.
This knows nothing about metal detectors, this machine punches above its weight
At least yer honest
