I figured out the puzzle with the video paused. Got the first 3, but never heard of tickled pink, I guessed pink anyways cause it seemed the only happy color left Minor change would be to have the puzzle go across two different rooms: a dirty dusty paint studio with the ghost painter, his paintings and frames and elsewhere in the nicer part of the castle an elaborate art gallery. This shows how the artist was rejected in his lifetime and a little satisfying to finally see his work properly displayed
Congrats on figuring out the puzzle! And... yes, I absolutely agree! Let's make this encompass multiple rooms... that would definitely make it a lot more fun for the players and give more meaning to the joy brought to our Painter once he has been redeemed as an artist. Thank you for the ideas, well done!
There is no bigger honor than having a puzzle idea and see it turn into a puzzle video by the puzzle master himself, WallyDM :D Brainstorming this idea with you and then seeing the results in the video is amazing, everything is just as I "pictured" :P Can't wait to use it on my games and then redirect people here lol Hope more people in the future share their ideas and end up featuring on future videos :) Thanks Wally! I hope myself and others can help you and support you for future videos! On to the Next! PS: I guess you can say I am tickled pink with this video lol
Wally, I know this is way past this video coming out, but in trying and thinking through the puzzle. I feel like it might be a good idea to offer an alternative to the White as a Sheet painting, and perhaps go with a thief being Caught Red Handed. Hope this helps someone out there.
If they get the paitings wrong I think I would do some kind of encounter or ilusion that they need to go trough in order to continue the puzzle. The ghost could be an actual ghost, the dwarf one could turn into a treasure hunt or something like that. My players seem to really enjoy these "inceptions" scenarios on my campaings.
It seems kind of obvious to me that if the players get it wrong that the ghost painter would paint something on the wall that would come alive and attack the players.
No worries at all... there are definitely going to be some puzzles and traps that DMs won't find useful, and that's cool. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Much appreciated. :)

Sweet, new Wally DM!
Awwww yeah! Hope you like it! :)
AH!! I see you play Stratego as well. Good on ya!!
Absolutely! One of my favorite board games.... and having LotR version is extra goodness. They also make good paintings for my D&D miniatures. :)

Oooh. Absolutely. I love that idea. Great plan!

lol... Absolutely! Perhaps... he could paint some trees... and they become Evil Treants! Mwahaha!

Holy smokes you are right! And... I have a brown afro wig too.... Man, a missed opportunity for sure! Dang it. :(

Not a fan of this one. Too loose, but kudos to the creator :)
