Yeah, what's really cool is once you interrupt the ultra with the side- swap, you don't have to do the Ultra input immediately, you can actually wait... like a little intermission and do the ultra again. AND it all counts as 1 combo.
@@longWriter Short answer, yep. Long answer...In default gameplay without meter, 4 characters in KI2 have no projectiles: Maya, Tusk, Sabrewulf & TJ. With Super, Sabre gains a projectile. So really just 3 characters. Now, when it's at the end of the fight and the opponent is on danger, all 3 of them have a full screen NO MERCY. TJ has his gun, Tusk meteors, Maya dagger toss. But I wouldn't really count those. In KI1, TJ and Cinder were the only characters who didn't have true projectiles, but Cinder at least had a couple flame attacks that countered incoming projectiles. So in that, I would same TJ was the only one.
Yeah definitely like a birdie style of movement in the alphas of street fighter Im refreshing my Brain on how to play this game and it's hitting hard But it's getting better still at my number 1 ranking since back in the day hoping I can play you one day
This video inspired me to start playing Killer Instinct Gold using TJ Combo. By the way, @GlaciusXL - do you have any videos of you playing Killer Instinct Gold either on the N64 or Xbox One?
@@DubThaTRUTH I made it already. There's a KI2 Sabrewulf tutorial in the description. There's also a KI2 Sabrewulf playthrough Tips video. I recently did a KI2 Sabrewulf Ultra tutorial and there's a KI1 Sabrewulf tutorial as well. You can check the Video section or check my PLAYLISTS for the KI tutorials.
No problem! I'll be making Tutorials for everyone. I just made a video for Orchid yesterday that I just posted. I'm starting to streamline the process now, so it shouldn't take too long to finish the rest. I'll try to remember to reply again to let you know when Sabrewulf is done.
@@GlaciusXL Awesome! KI2 is one of my favorites, but there's not a whole lot of stuff out there for people who wanna learn the game (aside from fancy ultra combos lol)
I figured out how to do Combos Forward FK repeat (Manual) combo. Press Forward FK, then immediately charge (back, forward) FK and repeat. I was trying to do his running overhead smash in the middle of a combo and found this out
Hey man, thanks for the tip. I was just checking it out. I was having more consistent luck by CHARGING BACK, press and hold Forward FK FK. Check that out, let me know if it works each time. Very cool. Thanks.
Finally got around to making the Maya Tutorial. ruclips.net/video/qdcWRVNe5MI/видео.html I go through all of the moves. If you want more info on how to do longer combos, check out my KI2 Basic Tutorial video. The Combo Structure that I show with Jago still applies to Maya. Your basic combo is OPENER , Auto, ENDER. More Advanced is OPENER, Auto, LINKER, Auto, ENDER. Then you get into Manuals for the longer combos that go OPENER, auto, manual, LINKER, auto, manual, ENDER. If you need more help, let me know and I can make a quick video for you showing specifics for Maya. I've done that for another person who was asking about Timing with Spinal Manuals, so I made him an Unlisted Video explaining. Hope this helps though.
I don’t think I’ll be touching TJ combo, Fulgore or Jago anytime soon. They are very difficult to use especially at their maximum level/potential but hey that’s just me tho 🤷🏾♂️. At least with tusk, spinal, orchid I can tolerate and learn their moves without all the extra stuff that you can do/or whatever it is required the maximum number of hits. Sure as hell look cool and fun once you learn so no knock to anyone let’s all learn and play people! #keepfighting ✊🏾💯
Well, you don't have to go MAX to enjoy them. TJ is actually a lot of fun to play even if you just stick to basics. His F+FK is my favorite pressure move in the game and leads right into F,B+MP roll. I just posted an Orchid Tutorial if you're interested. Jago is actually REALLY similar to her. So if you enjoy Orchid, he's pretty much got the same moves. The Ultras are also done almost identically.
@@GlaciusXL ok thank you I would like saberwolf so I guess in the meantime I’ll be in the lab with Orchid! Love the videos man keep doing your thing! 💪🏾
Thanks bro for all the work u put into these guides. I instantly subbed. Question how do u extend his ultra? I wait til he gets ready for the final upper cut and do the b f qk yet he doesn't go round the opponent
Thanks a lot! Glad it's been helpful. You need to do F, B QK. Not B, F. All of his moves that you do to interrupt the run need to be Forward, Back. Let me know if you still have trouble after this.
If Charging FORWARD, you need to use FP, MK or FP, MP. You can't use FK because it will register ForwardFK and you'll get the pressure move. If Charging BACK, it's easiest to use FK, MK or FK, MP because the timing is like other manuals. You CAN do FP, MP or FP, MK while holding back, but BACK FP can't be interrupted, so you have to press the medium attack later than usual.
For his neutral special, he wields a machine gun.
That ultra is dope! Holy crap!

Feels like they always add one character who _doesn't_ have a projectile. It _looks_ like TJ Combo is that one in KI.

AWESOME to hear! No, I've not uploaded any KI Gold. I still have the original game/ box/ and instructions though.
Hope you do a play through with this guy. Thanks man
I actually already did one. You left a comment on it. :P
