Looks great for shade, I don’t think it can get much better for that purpose. My concerns otherwise are, heavy rain (PNW resident). How does it handle standing water, which is really heavy, where does the water run off to? Also, my ARB Awning has a room that snaps onto it fully sealed from mosquitos, 4 walls and a tub floor to camp in. Awning can be placed at a slant for water run off. I love your product and I agree there is a market. But it only checks 2 boxes for me, shade and convenience. I hope you guys sell a ton of these and keep developing them with more features! Good luck guys.
Hey, Joshua! From our product testing, Crosswing holds up considerably better to most traditional awnings where water tends to pool in the middle. The X-Frame of our awning maxes the center of the canopy the highest point, allowing water to easily run off to the side. Where the water runs is also dependent on how you choose to mount the Crosswing to your vehicle. As for the bug room, we think you'll like some of the product we're working on right now! Lot's of fun stuff in the works, but nothing we can share just yet. Thanks for the kind words! We hope you'll keep following along.
Can you add this awning to sea suckers roof racks? I have a 13 ft Happier Camper and would love to get this awning. However I would need some after market cross bars or roof racks and Sea Suckers sell suction cup type roof racks for cars. TIA
We haven't tested Crosswing with Sea Suckers, so we can't recommend using them with our product with absolute confidence. We would have concerns with the strength of the suction cups and their ability to support the Crosswing when fully deployed.
Dude this is awesome I’m going to get one for my work van!!
You need mounting brackets that are Reversable, so you can mount to a bar going Lengthwise on the side of the vehicle, if you get my meaning?

Is there any way to mount this in the rear of an SUV for tailgating at a concert?
