This is such a good video! Thanks for making it!
Darth Maul Shadow Hunter is a good book that fed us Maul fans more back in the day. It still holds up today.
@Kiwi-Araga caring about lifespan of Ki Mundi is really nitpicky. You know you can let that go.
As for the power of many. If youre problem is just the chant. Okay fair enough, it meh. But again, that's something that can be let go. Star Wars is known for its quirky and off dialogue.
Ignore the following paragraph if I'm misunderstanding your beef.
But if your referring to the coven and the view of the thread. Then come on man!!! We cool with Jedi and Sith having different views of the force. The Nightsisters have a different view of the force. But this coven of witches can't have their own interpretation of the force?! I swear, Y'all be making mountains out of manholes for this show.
@@fragile4408Bruh it ain’t that deep. The Acolyte is blatantly ignoring defined Lucas era lore such as the 1000 year peace and the jedi’s unawareness of modern sith at the start of episode one. More importantly, the show is trash. Simply put it may be less entertaining than Chinese water torture.
A novel is the perfect place for Star Wars too get a little gritty and more brutal then normal.
On screen Star Wars should be fun for the family. But still allowed to be dark at times because as Clone Wars showed, Kids can handle that stuff.
Comics can push the envelope a little further but should still keep it safe.
But novels? The family isn't gonna read that. That stuff is for the star wars fans who really into the universe. Let the writers do what they want (within reason, Star Wars should never go hard R rating. But horror stories can maybe lean into a state between PG-13 and R)
Almost tragic? His life one of the most tragic in Star Wars.
Maul: Hmm I don’t remember anyone having much of any opinion of him when Episode I came out, not good or bad. He was very slight. Personally I thought the guy looked like a generic Halloween costume you’d see in a catalog. He barely said a word, and while the double bladed saber is pretty neat, it’s not exactly a character trait. And then he was hacked in half.
Darth Maul will soon be back as a woman of color with pronouns.
He's already two of those things.
Person of Color, he was born red (pretty sure the black parts are all tattoo. Ouch.)
And like fucking everyone, he does have pronouns. That's just how language works. Maul pronouns though are HE'S HIM.
Well maybe but it was never Brutal in the sense of the word as Murferface or other Deathklok members would use it.
If everything you've ever wanted from a lightsaber duel was: poor choreography, inconsistent power levels and contrived character actions, then I guess you've got what you wanted.
Never seen ANY Star Wars as brutal as Acolyte Episode 5. Everything I've ever wanted from live action lightsaber battles... Fulfilled. Now if only I could do that to the group-think haters who get off on review terrorism...
Group think.....haters.....
So people who aren't sheep.
Acolyte sucked azz
