This was actually a good video, Calan seems like a great guy, not the worst driver and I hope he can succeed somewhere, his story is interesting aswell
Awesome video! His seemingly premature entry to F2 led many people (admittedly, including myself) to believe that he was one of many drivers with limitless backing but not much speed that were going to spend years in the series hopelessly meandering at the back of the field. The first races already proved he is quick on his day, and it's great to see someone setting the record straight on his roots and modest financial background. Thank you for this one, Alex!
No worries! As said, he's no world beater, but the fact is that he has worked himself up to be at this level, and he will get better over time. If his sponsors stay with him for next year then I'm certain that we will see a sprint race podium, just like in 2021, and there is no expectation for him to get any F1-level results.
@@AS19Motorsport Exactly! After all, there is only a slim number of drivers in F2 who have the pace/race craft/race management for F1 anyway. Calan could very well still have a successful career in a different racing series.
