First FPV CRASH!! | DJI Avata 2 | Lessons learned

- I did it... on my second manual fpv flight I managed to crash my drone into a pole. Luckily the new DJI Avata 2 survived this crash and is still fully functional. I definitely got a bit ahead of myself and tried several times to fly through smaller gaps which is not a smart thing to do as a beginner. Lessons learned! Back to practicing on the simulator.

Anyone can suggest sim for iOS iPhone and iPad that I could plug in DJI controller 3 ? My kids will have about 12h to practice before I let them have it 😂

Lesson No. 4: Get a carbon fiber quad. It can handle a lot of crashes. :)

I got crashed to and my avata2 got problem with IMU calibration,sensor error and gimbal problem. Do you have a same problem after that crash?
Oh shame. No, I was lucky! I don't have any problems at the moment. Maybe you send it to dji for repair... thanks for watching! 🤝

Nice video thank you! I LOVE my Avata 2. I goto HK regularly (lived there for around 6 years in early 90’s, amazing place) as I have family there, what’s the restrictions re drones please? I want to take my Avata 2 or Mini 4 Pro.
Thank you!! Any drone above 250g is supposed the be registered according to the new regulations. Pretty similar to Europe and the US. Mini 4 Pro will be easy to fly almost anywhere outside the city :)
@@kevinrinderer Thanks for replying Kevin. I have my flyer ID with the UK CAA but that prob wont be any use now HK is part of China I guess. So if I bring my Avata 2 is it hard to get it registered please? Failing that I would just bring the Mini Pro 4.
@@ukmonk as long as you don't bother anyone and you fly somewhere more remote nobody will ask :)
