We're Adam and Bernardo, a married couple coming from North America and Brazil. Our love story began in Brazil of 2016, and it was clear from the start that we both had an insatiable wanderlust and a deep respect for Mother Nature. ** Adam I hate to say it, but I agree with Bernardo on the NO for VAN life. Wow that path down to the river was very overground. You guys did a great job clearing it out. How cold was the river? Love all the flowers you added to the deck. The lights you added were a great touch for the porch. Had to laugh when Adam went to sit in the hammock, and it broke. Sometimes frequent nose bleeds are a result of hypertension, you may want to check blood pressure regularly...
Thank you! I didn’t think of that. I haven’t gotten the nose bleeds checked out because they stop when it gets cooler.

You guys are very fortunate to have each other and your beautiful new home in a beautiful setting! We love our home out in rural Appalachia! It's nice to be away from the hectic traffic and lifestyle of our society. We of course go into the city to get some things and for doctor's appointments, etc. It's nice to drive home into the countryside. Enjoy your new life!
I love that Adam believes you both can do anything you want. No doubts or concerns just got to it! I think the nose bleeding may come from the dry air causing the nasal membrane to dry out and crack leading to nosebleeds! I love that house!

I lived with wild blackberries on the edge of my property for years and learned to love them. Lot so jams, jelly, and other baking uses with them. Enjoy and it's good to see you enjoying the new home.

Hey guys, congrats on this new, relaxed life. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and I would never stop looking at it! Having a private beach is a rare gift. You could bring some folding chairs down there and watch the boats go by. Living in nature with private space makes such a difference for day to day happiness and mental health. If you get a dog, he or she will love being there with you and give you even more purpose. We did this nine years ago (not as rural as you), and we still love every day. (Our dog sadly passed last year). So we hope this is a place that makes you feel grounded as an anchor and as a happy place, and you can still travel for shorter amounts of time. Adventures don't just happen in foreign places, and putting down roots is a great feeling. Growing vegetables and flowers will be a whole new type of experience for you guys.
BTW don't worry about the dang nosebleeds. I went through the same thing years ago and got all neurotic and went to the doctors, and they found nothing. It eventually went away, after years. If you're doing sinus rinses, they may be irritating the passages too.
Also, your videos are so nice and calming before bed. My husband and I are pretty neurotic, and your energy really helps us. It's a bit like ASMR tbh.

This is like a dream home I've always wanted. The tranquility, hearing the crashing waves, feeling the warmth of the sun and sea breeze caressing my face all at the same time, without actually leaving home to enjoy nature. And when night falls, watching the night sky open to show me the mysteries of the shimmering galaxy.

You probably need a cool mist room humidifier in your bedroom overnight....nose bleeds will probably stop...check how dry it might be in your new place too.

Thank you for sharing your journey, simple moment of life, your love thru videos. It’s always a great pleasure to discover your videos. And yes I really love to see you into a van life because it could be an amazing experiment for you (and for us thanks to videos😂) around US (I made one during 6month and have such great souvenir). Anyway van life in a relationship is not easy and you need a bit of confort to keep driving and living in during a whole year.
Do yourselves a BIG favor and move the grill somewhere off the porch and minimum of 3 feet away from anything FLAMMABLE!!! I'd hate to hear you had a fire because it's to close to the house. As a carpenter and had to replace fire damage, I've seen it happen more than I care too.♥️♥️🤯

@@Stepsof2Foreigners If it is on wheels, to use it roll it away from the side of the house... at least to the other side of the porch. My neighbor melted his vinyl siding, so it is not just the flame, the grills do get hot.

Thank you. I forgot to mention bloody nose. Perhaps too dry, your nose, and it cracked, like really bad chapped lips. Ever try saline spray? Gets very dry here in winter, and I touch inside my nostril with a wee bit of coconut oil, just like I do on my lips. Good luck.@@Stepsof2Foreigners

My nose used to bleed alot in the heat. I think when it gets too dry in there it tends to bleed more especially when its hot or if I blow my nose too much. On days like that, I put alittle polysporin in there and it works like a charm.
