I love and respect Dave so much. He has delivered so much truth in a way that the masses could digest it through humor and pointing out injustice when his genius mind spotted it and others couldn't see it. He is actually a very serious person about those things. Because he knows that only in America could he have been blessed with his success. He also knows not everyone possesses talents that bring in a big paycheck and that doesn't mean that those people don't matter. He knows it takes all of us to make it work that's why he always showcased regular people because they are important too. He is not without mistakes but he owned them and corrected himself, nor is he a person who never experienced injustice but he kept going. He introduced me to Warren Zevon too when I was a kid. I remember his last appearance with Dave. It was obvious that they were great friends. Dave knows how to be a great friend and that is a gift within it's self.
