Nice! Went yesterday to packery but didn't catch anything(single drop 1oz rig) a few ppl were catching but mostly just getting hung up haha. Last weekend I got my limit both days pretty fast with same setup. Might have to try slip cork rig in case theyre deeper
The slip float is great for covering ground, but when there are a lot of people and the current is moving, you will have to cast out often.

Heck yeah bro! We gotta get on some Jacks too! 💪 we've been using that rig since we were kids, works great for covering water and not constantly getting snagged and having to retie.
How long is the leader and how far away from swiveli you tie that bobber stopper

Hello, did it taste like Red Drum? or better? I am scared of sheephead's teeth like human teeth therefore I never wanted to catch one.
I was honestly surprised how delicious it was, Darlene! We have always been told that they didn't taste good however we were misinformed. I would personally rank my favorite local fish like this: Redfish > Pompano > Flounder > Sheepshead > Black Drum > Trout. The Sheepshead had no fishy taste whatsoever, I really did enjoy eating it. I would say it was similar to a Luby's Fried Fish but BETTER.
Slip rig is killer! Works great for multi species too! I would've died making that walk back with all them sheepies though! Lol
It sure is! It is our favorite rig to use when using live bait, the only real downside is using it when the jetty is crowded (Packery for instance), you would have to constantly recast. Yeah the walk wasn't easy like it is with a jetty cart but we have had worse. Lol

Most of this video was removing hooks and putting fish on a stringer. Not what I was expecting from the title.
