Its a great place but it has not been so ROSEY like you put it since the 1950s and even some what in the 1960s. the time period where you could have just showed your face to a company and have a job with in a week if not that day. people need to know unless they have some sort of degree or several years of experience, there could be a good chance they well either whined up on welfare or living in one of the old tramp holes by the river across from the cut banks. and allot of the time it is not what you know but whom you know. Yes Prince George is a great place to move to but stop watching these "F"n videos because you will be disappointed. from someone who has been a PGer since the 1960s, these newbis have totally white washed Prince George's history, has kissed e-so many asses, they have no since of what Prince George was and is, natives are supper pissed of everyone thinking with this first nations appreciation crap to the point they have forgotten the real native history of the region. also NEVER listen to these johnny come latelys when it comes to sight seeing PG. go there visit the info center, go to the libraries and read the history and REMEMBER ITS A PULP AND PAPER TOWN! remember that before you go out dinning. i can go on but i am no tour guide
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge do you even know where the town of fort george is? what about the actual fort george and where it was? do you know where the native burial ground is in prince george? do you know where the German p.o.w. camp was? how do you go golfing in winter? how do you go sking in summer? do you know anything of prince george? i would not even ask you about the history of the military in pg or the history of the natives (when everyone has white washed it away)
oh do you know anything of the war of fort george and prince george?
@@joeydepalmer4457 Would you be willing to shoot a video together where you share all of that information? It could give context :)

I love a good discussion, Joey :) Obviously everyone has their own viewpoints, but if you'd care to elaborate on your comment, I'd be happy to discuss :D Either way, thanks for watching and interacting! Have a great day!
I love my town ❤️
It's a great place to live! 🙂 How long have you lived here?
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge my hole life aka 9 years
@@skymaster256 I grew up in Burns Lake, so I've been coming to PG for 36 years and have lived here for 5 :)
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge nice what’s your fav cougars player
@@skymaster256 I don't have a favorite actually. I've only had a chance to watch 3-4 Cougars games.
Who is yours?
how much did the city pay you for the video?
If you know who to talk to at the city to get paid for a video like this, let me know! Haha. The city has no idea this video exists, and non of my videos are monetized in any way. I hope that answers your question! 🙂 Thanks for watching! 🤟🏼
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge coming from a johnny come latelly
0:53 What's wrong with it?
I'm not sure what your asking? At 0:53 on the video I mention that the cost of living is low here, which is a good reason to move.
Would you care to elaborate on your question, so I can answer it correctly?
Thanks!
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge not true, the cost of living in in PG is very high. PleaseTell the truth
@@greattubing2880 In comparison to where, exactly? I lived in Ottawa for 8 years, and when compared to somewhere like that or Vancouver, Prince George is very affordable. That was a large part of the reason we moved back here :)
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge you are being paid to tell all that's not true
*manufacturing 😋
Haha! Nice catch 😉
Is it true, it's dangerous to libe 8n pg?
No more dangerous than any other city I've lived in if I'm being honest!
i am from Pakistan and now i want to come in Canada kindly guide me sincerely that can i get part time job easily in prince George?
Thanks for watching Dua! Unfortunately I can't guarantee you part time work, but there are no shortage of jobs here if you do a bit of research into what kind of work you want too do :)
Don't go! Prince George is the most dangerous city in BC, a lot of racism. I lived there, it was the most terrible time in my life. this is the truth. do some real research. there is a lot of homes that wont sell. they are looking for buyers
yes very easy, as an immigrant you'll be taken advantage like they didi with me, ths is the truth
@@greattubing2880 Thanks... for this vital information. I am presently in SK and I have been planning relocating to P G. But the low cost of living kept me very skeptical..
This guy is a real estate agent and he wants to sell you a house. So take his "advice" with a grain (or two or three) of salt.
Thanks for watching Herman! Prince George continues to be a fantastic place to call home, and this last year has only highlighted that fact even more, as people and businesses move here for the lower cost of living than many larger centres, as well as the easy access to so many diverse activities. 🚣🏊⛷️🚵🧗
@@LivinginPrinceGeorge I have nothing against PG. I used to live there and I am considering a move back from Vancouver. If someones likes a quiet lifestyle it is okay there.
@@althunder4269 What is having you want to leave Vancouver, if you don't mind me asking? :)

Crime Rates is so high in P.G.!
?? That's a vague statement. Can you point towards any specific statistics that have you thinking this?
Prince George crime rate has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY in the last 15+ years, which is why we are not anywhere near as high on the list as we once were.
You also have a serial killer in the area
Hi I lived in PG for a few years as my wife is from there but we left because of the crime, what is this about a serial killer?
What bigger area doesn't have its fair share of psycho's? The key is to not be Serial, and you wont get killed! 😝🤣
