  • Whether you are a new learner with no swimming background, a masters swimmer or triathlete a high elbow recovery will help you slice through the water with less drag and set your body in the right position to drive yourself forward with each stroke.
    To do this exercise well you should already be good at the streamline drill. Watch this video and practice streamline first if you do not know this exercise.

    How To Practice:
    We use this set all the time in our technique courses, private lessons and masters group.
    4 x 75m with fins as:
    - 25 canoe with left arm forward
    - 25 canoe with right arm forward
    - 25 swim with focus on high elbows
    Once you have this down, take off the fins and try again!
