Congratulations Dan, you have a nice bunch of kits to keep you busy for 200 more videos. It's nice to see young folks interested in building models, you're a lucky dad.
Cool to see other peoples stacks :-D Would like to see you build the 76 Gremlin, that's one of my favourite cars, being a Nash/Hudson/AMC enthusiast for the most of my life. And if you would build the Hudson Hornet at the same time, it will be even better. Thx for sharing, Dan!!
I noticed there are a couple of the same kits in both stashes, so here’s a challenge to Natasha and Dan: Build the same kits, independently, no discussion, no peeking at each other’s work. Just build them as you want, without regard to factory correctness. No progress videos along the way, of course, just a video from each of you documenting your processes when both are finished. Have fun! See who gets more likes!
We are working on what we are calling a parallel build but with us sharing a work space secrecy is impossible. We have both decided that we do not want to be competitive.
Holy cow, that's a lot of models. I am also in London, ON. Where do you think is the best place to buy models in this city? I have been using coupons for Michaels so far and have been getting good deals.
I have found that Hobby and Toy Central (located in the Costco plaza, Wonderland and Oxford) and Broughdale Hobby (Glenora Drive) have the largest selection of model kits. Broughdale is the best choice if you want to special order anything. They have catalogs and will call their suppliers to see if they can get an item (I worked for them about 20 years ago) a couple of years ago I tried to order something from Hobby and Toy Central and several months later they had not done anything. Both stores are close in pricing. Broughdale has a better selection of paints and glues. Check them both out. I hope this helped.
@@dansmodelworx Thanks for the info. I went to Hobby and Toy Central today for the first time, I love the selection that they have there, and the prices are pretty good. This may be my go to store for models from now on. I might check out Broughdale later in the week, I haven't been there for years.
The only real exterior difference in a DC-3 and a C-47 is the door. Some, not all, C-47s had a bigger cargo door. Some had the same little man door. With your scratch building skills, just cut the door opening bigger, and paint it green. Not a great stretch for you. Interior differences are a reinforced floor, and lack of passenger fittings. That lowboy is a dream build,it dang near fell out of the box assembled. I put a real wood deck on it.
The DC-3 will depend on my plans which are very vague right now. As for the low boy, I don't know if I will use it for kitbash material or will build it stock.
Hmmm, we both must have great minds cause I also bought the van to build the Strange Brew van! As for the pick up I've been looking for that version for quite a while, so I will probably not be trading.
They did a whole series of chrome aircraft kits. I just think the Lysander was particularly ironic seeing as the real plane was almost all fabric covered.
Happy 200th Dan! 👍🏻🇦🇺
Thanks!
Awesome guys!! Congratulations on 200 video mile stone!! Thanks for the tour of your stash!!

@@dansmodelworx Well whichever way you fall on either project,I look forward to seeing what you do.
since stash.
I want one of those 77 Chev vans to build the Strange Brew van
What would you take in trade for that C1500 454 SS Chev pickup. LOL
Hmmm, we both must have great minds cause I also bought the van to build the Strange Brew van! As for the pick up I've been looking for that version for quite a while, so I will probably not be trading.
I thought I was the only person who had that chrome Lysander🙄
