Miss my mom, she was a great Regine fan. Before Regine she only had eyes and ears for Nora Aunor. Mama would paste a photo of Nora in her cabinet just above one of the built-in drawers. We would play a prank on her by borrowing the candles and flowers from her Sacred Heart image next to her bed and place them in front of Nora's photo. One time around 1993, we checked on her cabinet but instead of Nora there was Regine's photo she cut off a magazine page. When asked why the shift from Nora to Regine she said she was mad at Nora for the abuse she's been inflicting on her voice. Is it safe to say na si Jona is a combination of Jaya, Lani and Regine, in terms of voice and technicality? Yung kapal ng boses niya di ba kung di man equivalent may pagka Jaya, tapos yung flawless na falsetto at operatic fusion sa pop kang Lani at ang sustained high notes kay Regine. Agree ba?

Miss my mom, she was a great Regine fan. Before Regine she only had eyes and ears for Nora Aunor. Mama would paste a photo of Nora in her cabinet just above one of the built-in drawers. We would play a prank on her by borrowing the candles and flowers from her Sacred Heart image next to her bed and place them in front of Nora's photo. One time around 1993, we checked on her cabinet but instead of Nora there was Regine's photo she cut off a magazine page. When asked why the shift from Nora to Regine she said she was mad at Nora for the abuse she's been inflicting on her voice. Mama was in touch with all the chismis pala :D I love you mama, hope you're having ballroom dancing with papa every day in heaven.

At marami syang mga signature performances, sinasabi nyo lang na di sya sumikat sa Gma kasi di naman kayo nanonood sa Gma network kasi tingin ng mga fans ng abs cbn pag taga Gma puro walang talent pero pag lumipat na sa abs sobrang puri naman.
