Heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk does work as ice cream base. You need to whip the heavy cream until peaks form then whip the condensed milk into it too. Add some salt and you have your base. I was yelling at the screen so CONFUSED why it wasn't whipped. This is great to do with jars for small portions or as a fun kid project.
@TheIcingArtist I just watched it and it might be a country barrier with terms. She said "thickend cream" which might imply that it's whipped, or is available in a thicker variety than you're used to since she's from Australia I believe.
@@Farmerk3547This too! It almost looked like 50/50, and the typical no-churn ice cream is 2 C heavy whip with one can or 14 oz sweetened condensed milk.

It seems that the reason that there is so much cookie dough in the S'mores recipe is that you have to cover the big marshmallow. What if you tried a bunch of mini marshmallows instead?
Ah Laurie, thank you for making my old heart happy today 🥰 I lost my sweetheart to cancer at Christmas.. so most of my days lately are dark. Oh I miss my best friend… Anyway, your hilarious banter with Kevin and your overall positive vibe are just wonderful 💕 love y’all!

@@TheIcingArtisttry apple pie from McDonald’s and vanilla ice cream in the cup that’s my go to snack break the apple pie down in a cup then add the vanilla ice cream I also like to add some caramel sauce to it .
Tigga mac is Australian. She is amazing. Crunchies are honeycomb covered in chocolate. Which are similar to violet crumble if you have those. I think our thickened cream is different to yours and it looks like you added too much condensed milk. I think this would be a great one to revisit!
I love the way she’s so real and doesn’t try to be fancy or anything. She seems very down-to-earth. For me, nothing is EVER TOO SWEET! Her husband/videographer adds a lot to her show. BTW, my friend and I used to (cook) the triangle-shaped hash browns and put strawberry 🍓 jelly on it. It was sooo good! I wonder if I’d still like it. Probably😅
I would probably try the hash brown/McFlurry thing because one of my favorite treats is getting an M&M blast from Sonic and dipping tater tots in it. Love the salty sweetness of it!
Yesss! Not sure on the cheesecake part, but it seems like the dunking it in milk would help soften it some, while the cold would help it hold together better than room temp oreos
The cookie one is 100% one I want to attempt! Looks so good! 🤤. Would probably just use a cookie cutter though once baked, so you can get to the s'mores section quicker! (plus then you just have cookie off-cuts, yum!)
omg the smore cookie is so good lol I make them to cheer up my kids when they're sad. Yes less cookie dough, but who doesn't enjoy xtra chocolate chip cookie lol
Oh my! Thank you so so much for tje free e book and for including a vegan option 😭❤️ I have been looking for a good vegan chocolate recipe for ages and can't believe you shared yours ❤❤ Thank you a million times!!
I love making warm skillet cookies for guests. The s'mores idea would make a delicious one! A thin layer of crumbled grahams, mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, then cover with cookie dough. The more I think about it the more I wanna try it - with or without guests 😂
This was a great video! I love all your videos and now I know which dessert hacks to not try. Also…try Oreos from the fridge! They are cold enough to be delicious (especially the dark chocolate ones) but not tooth-breaking like frozen! It’s my favorite way to eat Oreos. @@blxvecrystal3952that’s how most people make hot cocoa (surprisingly!). I have always used milk, so I was shocked to find out that not a lot of ppl use milk to make it!!
For the record, @TheIcingArtist, when the frozen oreos were featured, they dipped them in milk first, which I think added to the pleasure of softening the cookie up a little bit before braking teeth was possible... that said, I'm a big fan of this method for the Oreo thins- especially with the mint flavored; like an ice cream sandwich & an Andes mint had a baby, so refreshing & a lot easier on them pearly whites than any of the larger counterparts.
Love that you tried a Tigga Mac hack! Love her cakes too ❤ I bet it would taste good with a Cadbury flake or twirl as well. Not sure I could try the hash brown/McFlurry combo though!
I have never tried any of those, but am intrigued by that last one. It's scary, but I imagine the combo of sweet ice cream with salty hash browns might be yummy. (I need help.)
In Sweden we have a sauce called vanilla wisk. You can whip it thick if you want or have it as it is. And usually you have it with the Apple pie. That sauce is VERY good to make icecream of.
I use to make a stores cookie almost like the one you did but do a chocolate chip cookie down the sprinkle crumbled the graham the marshmallow, then the other cookie layer. Best in every bite
I love the idea of the candy bar ice cream. But I have a really good ice cream you could just buy ice cream set it out and let it melt and then pour it into the candy bar and then you have really yummy ice cream… I can’t imagine cream and condensed milk, with vanilla is going to taste very good
Not sure if you tried it, I Love hash browns dipped the pancakes maple syrup pots. We’re from the uk, My wife screamed and cheered when you said you love McFlurry and fries. The candy bar popsicle looked like it might have too much sweetened condensed milk. It usually doesn’t freeze well and stays sticky. Probably just need to adjust the ratio.
I would use mini marshmallows and less cookie dough because of the smaller marsh you can get away with less dough to cover the giant volume of the pre-melt marshmallow. Even if you use the same weight amount of marshmallows it will be easier
