Hello sir, could you please explain when and why we need to consider stress transformation in design, like in bended members, compressed members, etc due to the significance effect of it. It's quite confusing to me that the tranverse shear and the shear that caused by the stress transformation which one is bigger or needed to be considered in some specific cases. Thank you in advance
@3.40 both are normal stress only i.e stress normal to inclied surface either we rotate from clock or anti clock. sigma t should be -108.45 Mpa. sigma t is 90 deg to sigma n .
HELLO TEACHER THANK YOU FOR EXPLANATİON in this video ,firstly ıwant to say about this topic (finding correct angle in stress ) very dificult for me use correct angle in formula equation if you have more information and details about this topic please explain for me beacuse ı need to understand this topic thank you
thank you for solving my biggest confusion in strength of materials
Sir, you have resolved a very huge problem of mine. I really admire your work. Thank you so much 💓
Finally solved the one of my biggest problem ❤
you sir, are the goat
Thank you very much. You explained it beautifully
Thank you so much! I finally understand the angles
Thank You very much ! You made me complete my assignment :)

Always enjoy your videos, thank you!
Glad to hear it.
This is a life saver
Sir please it seems shear stress values(positive or negative) depends on the angle u choose.
sir thank you so much this video helped a lot!
How did you get the 50?
The first frame. Is there a mistake in the angle? Cause the plane is rotating Counterclockwisely,I reckon it should be positive.
Do you refer to the first slide that summarizes all equations? if so, the angle shown is positive which is matching with the given equations.
Thanks sir very much
Glad that it was helpful

I'd be glad to help if you provide any particular example that you are struggling with.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
I didnt understand how to get to angle so complicated
Let me know what part needs more/better explanation and I will try to do it.
@@MechanicsofMaterialsLibre never mind I do understand now
