Salmon fly fishing on the River Blackwater - Day 2

After a dry summer, I was on a roll with another exciting day of salmon fishing on the Upper Blackwater above Rogie Falls near Contin in the Scottish Highlands. The wet weather kept the salmon running with plenty of salmon passing me during the day until one fell for a silver Ally's Shrimp fished floating line tipped with an intermediate polyleader.
Rod used: 11ft 7 wt Orvis Clearwater Switch Rod hawker-overend.... hawker-overend...
