    Blake could shoot, had handles, had excellent footwork, could clean up around the rim and he was insanely athletic. Dudes probably one of the most underrated players in NBA history.

    • @penkima4923
      @penkima4923 3 месяца назад +8

      He didn't rebound or block shots to match his athleticism, and he was always injured in the post season. People don't know who he was as a player, because he made too many highlight reels, much like Vince Carter. But he wasn't that underrated either. He could've been an athletic Jokic, but human ligaments can't support that.

    • @hungryallday247

      @@penkima4923he didn't block shots as much because he has t-rex arms. When he came in BG was on the glass like a MF. once he started getting more responsibilities on offense he didn't attack the glass the same. Casuals don't know his game if they just watch highlights. People who actually watch some games know the talent of BG or Vince. Detroit blake was underrated, LA blake wasn't

    Blake doesn't get the credit cause we're in the ring culture era where these kids growing up feel that rings mean everything and they don't. i asked a kid yesterday what would PG leaving Clips and getting a ring do for his legacy and he couldn't answer me..
    it would do nothing he'll become a borderline 3rd option and known for running from the grind cause he's been just as hurt as Kawhi..
    PG was hurt last year when Kawhi was healthy in the playoffs before he went down tryna do too much
    rings don't always define greatness

      Exactly, they should do what they do with the NHL a MVP for voted by colleagues and one for Best Team MVP. The talent is insane compared to before so the talent coming through should be acknowledged more because they should think about adding a 4th Team All NBA and 3rd Team All Defence at this point with soooo much talent in the NBA because we always talk about who got snubbed and why is it only a 12 man All star game roster, shit can it hurt to make it 13 atm so 2 other players can make it but if they did the contracts for those 2 would go up omg idk what the players association is doing to make themselves to say one player deserves 50M a year while other players take pay cuts, doesn’t make sense and that’s because of the players association

    Blake in 2015 was maybe the 4th best player in the league. That playoff collapse overshadowed what was an all time offensive bag.

    I'm a true clippers fan since 91-92. Talking bout them Danny Manning and Ron Harper days. When Ralph Lawler first started saying "bingo" so naturally PG leaving has really hit hard. I really believed he was going to take us to a new level. It's so upsetting to know that it's not going to happen because of a no trade clause. I can no longer watch and follow his podcast.😮

    Bro it's a travesty we don't have those practice tapes. Maybe one day a ton of them will leak, or the NBA will release them. I would love to see the fucking insane lobs in practice and insane Steph Curry and KD and LeBron heaters against the bench or that game when Butler busted the Starter's asses in like 2050

    Fair to say Blake was the 2010s version of Shawn Kemp? Similar to Dominique too except Dom was more of a leader personality.

    they should do what they do with the NHL a MVP for voted by colleagues and one for Best Team MVP.
