  • This week, 3x All-NBA & Bulls All-Star Guard DeMar DeRozan joins Paul George and his co-host Jackie Long and Dallas Rutherford to discuss playing PG for the first time in High School. Then DeMar explains his relationship with Master P and Romeo and also shares some advice to USC Basketball’s newest commit Bronny James. PG and DeMar then hit on Playoff storylines including LeBron’s evolution, being on the other end of classic buzzer beaters (yes, including the Damian Lillard shot), the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown partnership and advice for Jordan Poole. Plus, their honest take on the amount of NBA Players that don’t love the game and advocating for mental health within the NBA. Finally, we hear stories about their time at the 2016 Rio Olympics together, how DeMar became one of the elite midrange players in the game, and what Kobe Bryant’s influence meant to them. #demarderozan #paulgeorge #nbaplayoffs #nbapodcast #BronnyJames #lebronjames

This is one of the realest NBA interviews on a podcast I've ever seen, never seen Demar be so open and comfortable before. You can tell his friendship with PG is truly genuine, and that they really go way back. Incredible to see how ya'll have made a safe space for players to be able to share their stories and shape their own narratives. Ya'll really got something special here, keep doing your thing Podcast P gang!

DeMar is still my all time favorite Raptor! I miss him so much and in my mind, was the reason we won the Chip! If it wasn't for the fact that he is an All-Star and top level player, then we would never have been able to trade for Kawhai. I thank his Parents for bringing up such a wonderful, respectful Soul. And 100% the entitlement is not just about new generation NBA players, is our entire society. Never earned, just the expectation of being handed whatever you want.

Most player/media podcasts are overly professional and somewhat boring. Y’all are real and casual while still explaining the game to the uninitiated.

The mental health portion almost bought me to tears men. Majority of us as boys growing up are scolded for showing emotion or it’s brushed off by everyone. Good to see bigger voices like Kevin love, derozan and PG showing that it’s okay to be human

i really love demar's takes and his honesty, his stories, and his values - i respect him sm as a player. i really see how his relationships with others mean sm to him from him just hugging his old coaches after games or just having such good things to say abt every1 in the league. super well spoken too, i really loved this interview and i think a big part is because PG and him have been close for so long lol. I'd love 2 see derrick rose on this

Youre damn right about people not watching. The dillon brooks hate was crazy I had to defend him because people were calling him trash after looking at his stat line but he would always play hard and make good defensive plays and the shots he did make were clutch. It's just like people just roll with what's funny and keep it pushing.
