I would never expect that in this digital era, note taking is something that get more and more attention. I bought tablet that comes with stylus, wished that I will reduce my spending on stationaries. It works vice versa instead 😄 I buy and collect more stationaries nowadays.
Same... Every since I got my tablet, I bought a ton...
But I think it's because my tablet inspired me to cleanliness, so now I like things that are neat and pretty better.
Most of us who grew up loving paper and stationEry (whether reading, creative writing) as children before the ‘digital’ age have a unique love for paper that no digital product can erase.
Digital notebook has their own advantages. Like we will never run out of papers, very easy to do lettering. But overall it feels fake and cheating.
As an out of sight out of mind person, I have found digital planning only works so well.
I find myself forgetting my notes on my phone. That's the downside of going digital, I guess. There are too many apps that take away from my attention. I've tried a number of apps over the years, evernote, sticky pad on windows, and even Notion yet in the end, I ended up buying a .99 cent small notebook that I carry with me like a phone. It's therapeutic and at least for me.
I really love my sketchbook for drawing in (I have the A4 size plain), the pages are thin but i love how it looks with alcohol markers. I haven't tried watercolors as I think the paper won't hold it. If anyone is interested I have been using it a little bit on my channel.
I just recently started to get into this paper brand and there is not a lot of information on them in RUclips. Really happy this came out today!

I really recommend the MD series! On anime and kpop journaling RUclips and Instagram, it’s very popular! I’d invest in it if you can!

The MD Notebook Journal - A5 - Dot Grid is MY notebook, My Diary and My planner ! I discovered it 3 years ago, the paper is so fantastic (I write almost always with medium or bold nib fountains pens) the notebook light and I can change them looks with postcards or stickers putted between clear cover & notebook ! I love them

These are great notebooks. I live in Tokyo and have been doing RD to design and start a collection of notebooks to sell via Kindle Japan. I bought one of these notebooks on a trip to Japan in 2016 and it was the first blank notebook that I actually used start to finish. It's fantastic!

I actually throw most of mine😅 but to be fair, those are the tacky and shiny ones that are lowkey ugly and i much prefer the clean single color aesthetic of the book with gold embossed titles ✨ ahhh so pretty

I've been journaling everyday for the past four months and it's safe to say that it has become a habit now, the MD journal with a clear jacket would be quite the settlement for someone like me.

Where is the link for the binder 02:41? Is it no longer available? If not what are all the binders similar to that? Meaning to fit multiple notebooks in one. Specifically for Midory slim notebooks or the other line.
I love Midori. Switched from Leuchtturm to Midori last year. But I'm sad to say that several pens don't write at all or only in fractions on it. Pentel's Energel in 0.7mm for example. Also several Gel-Refills in G2-Parker-Style Refills don't write. It feels like the Midori MD Paper is too soft and like the pens "sink" inside the paper, and keep stuck. Anyone else got these issues with Midori paper? Maybe it's because I'm a lefthanded writer. I don't know.

Hello, I have a question for anybody who is willing to amswer plzzzzz!!! What black marker or pen will not smear when you use alcohol markers. Does ink joy by paper mate pens smear with alcohol markers? Sorry and thank you for anyone that can help me out :D
Water-based pens like Inkjoy tend not to smear with alcohol markers, but we recommend testing it first!

Yes! Despite the thin paper, these notebooks work fine with markers and even a bit of watercolor, and certainly with fountain pen or pencil.
