@@stilldutches4124 - He is up there but I would probably pick Zac Radford or George Bryan as the best RUclips players. This course was Taylor made for him. It requires accuracy vs power. He would have a tougher time competing on a longer course with rough.

When Henry reminded Grant to focus on one shot at a time and forget about other people/a score to aim for, you knew he was in good hands...Grant over complicating shots and Henry saying just play golf, simple golf. He was like having Faldo and Tiger combined in your corner keeping you in the zone with a clutter free mind!
And cost him a million penalty strokes because he stood directly behind Grant on a ton of shots. So really, Grant shot 90

I love Henry’s personality and the word choice he uses as a caddie, if I ever want to try to make it on the tour, Henry would be my perfect caddie!! And the way he calms down Grant must help Grant’s game a lot

Grant is playing the best golf I have seen even during GG days. Matches with Micah seem to be driving him to play better.

@@ExbotHero ya mikah can swing faster, but basically worse in every category. Grants short game is amazing, and his irons are very good, which gives him looks at birdie all day instead of scrambling from trees and bushes like mikah half the round

Grant is just a pure human. I’m glad he doesn’t want to go pro. He just wants to create content and make people smile for a living.

I've stepped away from the game for 25 years.....!! good aquaintience of mine taught me how to play golf as a kid.. he stepped away from being a Pro when semi pushed him out!!! I still have my mojo!! I played life long players a weekend ago and they were amazed at my game... I parred 4 holes and missed 2 birdie shots because greens were lousy.... once you have the technique you can step up at any time and Grant has the game... he is over critical in his personal assessment... His buddy here is his best friend!!! tried to pull down his anxiety and view his advantages... good friend!! and great golfers!!! Grant I would be your caddy anytime... your swing is perfect IMO!!!

The caddie was excellent. He was so encouraging, yet didn't talk too much, and had a very calming voice. And, of course, excellent play from Grant.
This was so great to watch, holy cats! Henry was clutch keeping Grant centered! But also, Grant did a terrific job working his way around and scoring with that early restricted swing that we **all** start with. Watching him get to that free-flowing swing we all know Grant for, later in the round, was amazing 🔥❤👍 Bravo!

@@jazzyjay4595 that doesn’t make him good enough to compete with the big boys. He’s nowhere near them. Good player? Absolutely! Potential? Skys the limit for how much he wants to put in. But to say he’s good enough to compete with PGA players is a laughable comment.

I found myself saying "Yeaahhh!" when you made that first birdie. You should never be nervous bro! You've done this a million times! You just need to make sure you are envisioning your shot and calculating for your spin, slope, etc. and feel 100% comfortable over that shot and you got this!

Recently subscribed after enjoying your contribution Grant on the Rick Shiels channel. Really enjoying your content but these tournament insights are really good. Find it really enjoyable to see you discussing each hole and the way you played after each. Plus as a U.K. player it’s fun to see these US courses feels so different from my battling the link courses here on the North Wales coastline as a high handicapper trying to improve. Great content!

Grant's a great golfer. I understand why he'd like to hit more fades but he plays so well with his natural draw that in a competition he shouldn't mess around too much. Henry kept him in the right state of mind. Well played both of you!

This is my favorite kind of RUclips golf. Just straight golf. No BS. 💯
-2 is great. Also, to be clear, you didn't play OB as hazzard, kept the ball in play the whole round and still shot -2. A lot of people don't realize how many strokes are recovered when you play OB as hazzard. It makes sense for pace of play and recording purposes for content, but it does make a -2 WAY more respectable.
The competitiveness and strategy of this format is also awesome. I would love to see more, of this type of video from you.

@@GrantHorvatGolfs Coolest part...I talked to them 3-4 times through email and once on the phone (Kansas City to Sweden), and every conversation was with the CEO/Founder, Gustav...!! Super nice guy!! He even offered to meet me for a round if he ever finds himself in KC. Phenomenal company with a great leader. Oh yeah, the shoes are fire...!! Blessing to you and Sadie in all you do...God is better than good!
Excellent playing, excellent course management. So much in golf is choosing the right club /strategy such that you limit the possibility of getting yourself into unnecessary trouble. If the driver should stay in the bag on a par 4 or 5, keep it in the bag.

Congrats Grant! I have played this course several times over the past 6 years. It’s short but the greens are slow and the fringe is very sticky. Your short game has to be on point to score here IMHO. Needless to say I wish I had your short game especially when it comes to chipping! Keep up the great content and never stop smiling my friend.
