Yeah, he SENDS it!” Now I’m hooked - another genuine dude like Grant that both of my good junior golfers can follow. For what it’s worth, the process-thought-discussions are the most valuable parts of these matches. They provide great perspective for my daughter (who’s committed to a Power5 D1 school) and my son who is headed in that direction. Aside from that, it’s good for them to see genuine fun being had by these two guys. Your body language is so good.
7 holes in.. Ben's mindset when he's not playing up to his usual standard is what makes him so good. Most would crumble or explode at this point. Very impressive.

Grant. been watching you progress with your content and its been refreshing. your parent should be proud. this match was everything golf is. The ups and downs are the greatest. you two are so genuine and pleasant through all the bad holes. I play in a league with some old timers and they are so cool and calm on the course that it doesn't matter what kind of shots they hit, good, bad... they stay even keeled either way. I've learned that from them. mainly my dad. he's not a great player but he had definitely taught me how to BE on a golf course. " Son, Keep it light and don't let your failures change your attitude on the course, Failure will happen, but its how we react that effects the next shot." I go by the 7 second rule. I have 7 seconds to be pissed about a bad shot, and 7 seconds to gloat about a great shot. you have to forget those shots after 7 seconds and then move on to the next shot. no anger, no big head. its working for me. Keep up the great work you two and thanks for the great content!

By far ... hands down "the" most enjoyable entertaining golf match I've seen. Comparable to Mediate and Tiger swinging it out on extra holes in a play off .
So awesome, 2 great (Schizophrenic) golfers, entertaining dialog, and it was like it was scripted. But what really amazed me is the cinematography. Whoever handled the cameras and did the editing was incredible. I've worked in this industry over 40 years and know what it takes to make a production like this and I for one don't take it for granted. A lot of times I forget that this didn't come out of Hollywood with a million dollar budget but just 2 guys, a caddie, and a small production crew putting out content that rivals anything coming out of one of the biggest studios in the world. Great job to everyone that is involved. Thank God we are lucky enough to get to spend an hour and fifteen minutes watching this great and entertaining video. The best part of my day. Thank you.

To be honest, it must be said that Grant wasn't just playing against Ben. Nor was Ben just playing against Grant. In addition to playing against one another, they were both playing against the Trump International Golf Course. Most of us have never walked the course much less played it from the tees the boys used, but the cameraman was a star. Sure, he's a one-eyed gimp, but he sure knows how to use the lens & the pixel producer to capture the tight fairways, the nasty rough, the omnipresent water, and those strategically placed sand traps. That course can hurt any golfer as bad as Trump got hurt in a NY courtroom, and the cameraman plied his trade as well as the boys played some of their shots. Finally, the boys made friendly banter back & forth and stayed gentlemen. This vlog was RUclips golf at its best.
It's somewhat comforting for us "average golfers" though to see that two great RUclips golfers can struggle, especially Ben at the beginning. But then.... It's also comforting to know that no matter how far south your game is going, you can always recover during the round if you stay positive! Great video guys! Really enjoyed it! ⛳
Gotta commend you Grant for hanging in there after all the bad breaks (and a few questionable decisions. I have to admit I probably would have mentally melted down after blowing a lead like you did but you stayed positive and made some really good holes down the stretch to pull out the match. This video really exemplifies how important it is to hang in there and just keep playing every shot one at a time. You just NEVER know how things will turn out! BTW, that course is brutally difficult. No way I would want to play it on a regular basis!

At 8:00, the way I understand it, the rust doesn't cause more spin. The lack of finish on the grooves allows the groove edges to be sharper and stay in contact with the ball longer
I enjoy watching Grant’s RUclips videos very much. I really enjoy his 18 holes matches. Those doing the videoing and editing do an incredible job. This match with Ben Kruper was extremely enjoyable to watch. The golf course was beautiful and very challenging. I enjoyed the camaraderie between both Grant and Ben; there was great competition, yet at the same time they were honest admiration for each other. There definitely needs to be a rematch.

Watched nearly all of grants videos and he definitely dropped some shots on purpose and if they weren't planned water balls he knew he needed to drop shots by taking more aggressive lines and hitting shots he'd never hit in a competitive match. I will say it might be the most honorable thing to do in that situation to not make a mockery of Ben and to help his guest through the round. No matter what I'm a huge fan of the channel but his reactions after the water balls give it away, he knew exactly what he was doing.

I am nearly as tall as you , and so do watch your posture. You are stooping which will alter the energy flow and degrade your neck! Westley is a very good example of someone who stands straight. To check your posture stand up straight , against a wall and let your heels touch the wall. The calves, hips, top of shoulder AND YOUR HEAD should all comfortably touch all together. One benefit of raw finish wedges is that you can sharpen the grooves periodically. That will maximize spin.

Clearly you are improving and can easily take on the pros.
I am nearly as tall as you , and so do watch your posture. You are stooping which will alter the energy flow and degrade your neck! Westley is a very good example of someone who stands straight.
To check your posture stand up straight , against a wall and let your heels touch the wall. The calves, hips, top of shoulder AND YOUR HEAD should all comfortably touch all together. Be careful, as bad posture can creep in.
You are an inspiration.

Grant, your short game was off the charts. Best I've seen so far. Ben is a great guy, it is truly a mystery how he can hit the ball so far with that long pause at the top.
