It looks good. It looks really, really good. I like your hardware choice. Classy. I think the paint line is positioned well. Most people would cut the dresser in half with the two finish choices. I like that you raised it. That way it really looks dipped.
It is such a beautiful piece of furniture with a pristine finish. It is elegant. I really like the paint dipped look. I have a dresser to do next but it has a cabinet at one end so I don’t think it will work, but seeing you cross the line (pun intended) by splitting the top drawer with paint is making me think about it.
I love the color combo. Really well done. I have an 8 drawer dresser that I still need to break out my new paint sprayer. Looking forward to some more videos. I’m subscribing.
Love the idea of the paint wash! Might just save a piece I got involved with, witch has been a thorn in my side, color-wise, since I started it’s really-do. Thanks!
WOW, Bhavika! This piece is GORGEOUS. And is probably the best “dipped” piece I’ve ever seen. By moving your paint line up you really made it look like it’s been dipped in paint, so great call. Congratulations on your profit (that’s awesome you got such a quality piece and in really good condition for only $5 BUCKS!).💜
Hi, I’m a new subscriber from Malaysia. I’ve watched a few of your videos and I have to agree with the rest, you do amazing work. Love all your pieces. I can’t wait for more! ♥️
Great flip and gorgeous end result! * Don't forget to count your time on the piece (your hourly rate). Too often flippers dont track their time, but necessary if you are claiming a business. Your time is an expense as well 😊
What a great find! Can’t believe you scored it for only $5!! I love the results and thank you for having the breakdown of everything. Your market seems to be close to my market which is super helpful. Did you do the paint wash in night club as well?
The simple thing would have been to do the paint from just the bottom two drawers in down. Really like how u went up a little higher for a more interesting & custom look 👍🏽
What a fabulous flip and a showcase of your talent! I am definitely a subscriber now and look forward to watching all of your videos. Forget Netflix 😄 I am curious, what is the plastic sheet with the yellow tape attached called and where do you buy it from? Please and thank you ☺️
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
I was sceptical about the "dip" in paint effect, but it turned out gorgeous! When you put your furnitures on Facebook Market how do you describe them? used and refinished or new? I've never seen such furniture flips on FBM where I live.
Hi! Yes I describe the piece and the process to refinish in the description. The title of the posting will always be “Newly Refinished Dresser….” As for FBM, once you start searching for something the algorithm is pretty good at popping them into your feed. Thank you for your support!
Good job with this design. You might try scraping off the finish. Inexpensive and no smell or goopy leftovers. Watch Transcend Furniture or Dashner Design for examples. They are experts in the technique.
That’s an amazing profit! May I ask where you’re located? I’m wondering if I would be able to sell for that amount in my area. I just purchased a piece very similar to this one….thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I delivered it myself, and fortunately the buyer lived in my neighborhood (literally less than a 5 minute drive 😊). But, if I do deliver a piece I will charge an additional fee to offset gas and my time.
hi this piece turned out really cool. may I ask what part of the country do you live in? $500+ is a huge return on your work! im in upper midwest and really do not know how to price my pieces. im not turning pieces over that quickly so I couldn't price based on that. I have to marinate on the next step sometimes if im going more glam etc.. thanks and I loved the video. patty k.
Thank you for the support!! I live in Toronto near a major city so that does play a role. Pricing is always tricky. I have become more and more confident in my self and my work with each piece and so that also is demonstrated in my prices.
I think you have talent and everything is presented very well. It's a matter of taste but I didn't like the finish. My eyes are drawn to the top and not the entire piece. I really enjoyed watching. Congrats on the sale! Look forward to more.
Thank you for the support! And yes, it is a matter of personal taste, the dipped look I did isn’t for everyone. I appreciate you watching regardless. Thank you
Very cool! Where and how do you sell these? So far I have listed several items (staged nicely, etc) on FB Market and several other apps, and nobody even messages me :(
Thank you. I sell my pieces on FB marketplace. I am in Toronto so its a high population. I also offer delivery (for a fee) which I think makes a difference. I deliver about 75% of my pieces. Be patient and keep going…it will happen!
Thank you for sharing and it is a beautiful piece! However I feel the cost and profit calculation is off. For someone new, they won’t have the following on hand and will need to spend money to buy: stripper, Bondo wood filler, surfprep sanding tool, mineral spirits, Howard’s wax, paint sprayer. I think for a professional who already has all the professional tools on hand, then it’s a good profit. Otherwise, it’s an investment to buy all those tools. And the money to buy all those tools needs to come from somewhere
I always forget to include this in my “products used” in the description! Here you go: PlazMask Pre-Taped Masking Film, 12-Feet X 65-Feet www.amazon.ca/dp/B07BL95GP5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Y7N2ZNYD7FBZ4T823JXW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Looks very elegant, great job!
I loved this piece! So smart to move your paint line up. I can’t wait to see what else you do
Wonderful choices for this dresser. Love the color choices as well.

Thank you so much for your kind words and your support!
I feel & did the same!
It looks good. It looks really, really good. I like your hardware choice. Classy. I think the paint line is positioned well. Most people would cut the dresser in half with the two finish choices. I like that you raised it. That way it really looks dipped.
Thank you!! I agree, it looks a little different than the usual dipped pieces.
Good choice on the paint line!
Absolutely Gorgeous! Great job and thanks for showing us how! LOVE!
Thank you. Really appreciate it!

Chan%ing the paint line was a great move. I think it looked really good with where you put it.
I have the sewing desk from this Bassett line! The mahogany is gorgeous!
I love the color combo. Really well done. I have an 8 drawer dresser that I still need to break out my new paint sprayer. Looking forward to some more videos. I’m subscribing.
Thank you so much for the support!!! And once you start spraying, you’ll want to paint everything. 😊

Right?!?

What a fabulous flip and a showcase of your talent! I am definitely a subscriber now and look forward to watching all of your videos. Forget Netflix 😄 I am curious, what is the plastic sheet with the yellow tape attached called and where do you buy it from? Please and thank you ☺️
Hi its called “PlazMask Pre-Taped Masking Film” and I get it off Amazon 😊. Thank you so much for the support!
Funny I just did this today and yesterday except opposite. My paint was on the top and wood on bottom.
This is such a beautiful piece. where do you buy your hardware?
Loved this makeover, looks amazing. Also your hardware is beautiful. Where did you purchase them?
Gorg!!! 😍

Came out Soo beautiful....I'm confused as in the description you put fusion ash and soapstone? And in video it's Nightclub ..I'm confused haha🥴❣️
Yikes! Thanks for catching that. I used Nightclub by Behr. I have corrected the description. Thank you for the support!!
Good job with this design. You might try scraping off the finish. Inexpensive and no smell or goopy leftovers. Watch Transcend Furniture or Dashner Design for examples. They are experts in the technique.
I noticed you take your tape off when your paint is dry? Do you find it works better than taking it off with wet paint? It's gorgeous 😍
Both work equally well when I use frog tape.
What is the plastic you used with the yellow tape attached that covered the drawers?
Felicidades
That’s an amazing profit! May I ask where you’re located? I’m wondering if I would be able to sell for that amount in my area. I just purchased a piece very similar to this one….thank you for sharing!
Hi Tiffany, I am located in Toronto, Ontario. Hope your piece turns out great!! 😊
Loved your work and the finished piece. What was the cost of delivering it to the buyer? Doesn't that significantly cut into your profit?
Thank you! I delivered it myself, and fortunately the buyer lived in my neighborhood (literally less than a 5 minute drive 😊). But, if I do deliver a piece I will charge an additional fee to offset gas and my time.

Love the make over. Had to mute the sound tho
Can you link the drawer tape you used please :)

I cannot get on with soray guns just seems to leave splatters no matter what settings x
There’s definitely a learning curve with them. And the paint you use also makes a difference. I find I get more splatter when I thin it out too much.
Super nice and sexy piece of furniture.
You should really filter your paint in the paint gun, those things can clog up so easily.....
Please pull you tape away from the paint pulling towards the paint may pull your paint up and you don’t want that.
Thanks for the tip!
