I know this is late from when this was posted & im not even sure if you could help.. I’ve been w/o working headlights since 2020, I have a 2011 gs sport eclipse with factory hid headlights.. the manufacturer completely discontinued them and ones I tried from eBay or junk yards had broken tabs.. my question is do you have any idea what I could use to switch from factory hid to aftermarket hid projector headlights? Do you have any tips? Any advice if I tried finding a business to do it? I love my car it was my first car and I hit a deer a month after having it unfortunately.. any advice would be so appreciated
Wish there was more information out here on doing something like this. Currently trying to do this with my GS300 because god forbid any manufacturers make HID headlights alternatives, and its been a real pain in the ass, especially because I can't seem to even find a conversion kit to leave the HID's behind. How did this end up working out btw? Would love to see a video of the finished product after upgrading to whatever headlights you intended to switch to.
Well it worked out great. Most people don't leave from HID to others so no, not a lot of info. I no longer have that car though to show it. What other options are out there that don't swap plug and play into your GS?
