Uruguay has 4 stars (2 world cups and 2 Olympics). The Olympics that they won was actually before the World Cup ever existed (1928 and 1924).
And they went on to win the first World Cup in 1930 so it’s safe to say they were legit the most dominant team of that decade. Tbf 40 million people had just died and half Europe destroyed from WW1 though

The Ecuador badge is actually really creative, they have a FEF in the middle for the federation (backwards F) and they made it look like an eagle. Pretty sweet.

3:57 I know is kind of confusing but that minimalistic Colombian badge its supposed to be used in social media and in merchandise. The official kits have a bit more elaborated badge which includes the name of the federation on it

Bolivia's badge is cool. They have a big ass bird on it. That's badass. Also two of the Uruguay stars are from the two Olympics before the first World Cup. Those were orginized by FIFA and the winner was granted the status of world champion.

Uruguay’s two other stars are from the 1924 and 1928 Olympic tournaments that they won, they were viewed pretty much as equivalent to the first 1930 world cup, so they got to add 2 extra stars to their badge!🌟🌟
As an Argentinian, it irritates how the top of our badge has a perfect horizontal line, and yet they insist on putting the stars in a triangle shape.

Uruguay has 4 stars because they won the top world football competition 4 times (2 Olympics, before the world cup was created, and 2 World Cups). Fifa acknowledged and allowed the 4 stars.
Fifa doesn't care if you have stars on your logo. There's a lot of African countries that have stars on their logos. A lot of countries in Latin America make fun of Uruguay for putting stars on their logo because those two Olympics aren't world cups no matter what you say and the other two were won on the first tournaments when there was very few teams participating ( only europe and a few south american countries).
@@adrianlopez9591 Learn some football and do some research before commenting. FIFA DOES regulate the use of stars on badges. African teams are allowed to use stars for winning continental competitions (e.g African cup). Fifa has to authorise all stars just like they authorized Uruguay’s 4 stars. Not many countries in latin america make fun of Uruguay considering they just beat Argentina and Brasil (and have 15 American Cups, the most any country has) and are 2nd on Latam at the moment. Please do some research before commenting bullshit, everyone who knows ball respects Uruguay. Go be sour somewhere else
